So, what is faith? To me this is a word that means 'peace, safety, and security'. I know that the Lord is with me even though he seems to be far away at times, but he gives me strength to walk alone along the path that he has chosen for me. There are times that I need help in making decisions on how to tell people how I feel when you find out that names do hurt even after many years. For me when someone said that I was lazy a few years ago it still hurts today the same.

Faith is a gift of the spirit. For some, it is second nature while others often have to work at having it. I am sorry you've experience such hurtful actions and words from others. I still love the quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart, is true for all men,—that is genius". For me, it's tantamount to believing in your own self and your own true purpose under heaven is genius.
Aww, sending you hugs. I can relate to this so much. People don’t understand how powerful their words are, but we can be careful with our own, and hope that someday; through us, they can learn the benefits of holding their tongue. You’re not lazy, I’ve seen you publishing a lot of stories. You are very ambitious, driven and also introspective. That to me, takes a lot of work. Well done for this piece, vulnerability is a beautiful thing, especially in writing. It is the kind of thing that commands respect.
