Yes, I read it.
It's a fan fix based on Edward Cullen, with more sex. Discussing the kind of sex you want is liberating; the sex scenes suck. How many words can you use for a penis? The answer is a lot. However, the overuse of masculine toxicity as a plot device is disheartening

I hate this book, but love your critique. “How many words can you use for a penis? The answer is a lot.” 😆
Agreed! At the time of these I was so insanely compliant and trying to mold myself to being whatever any man wanted me to be that I didn’t initially see these as toxic. I think it took me a while to see this, from what I recall now. Once I did it was like whoaaaa! Curtains came up. I, like her, would overlook all of his insane behaviour because my mind was like “if she just loves him more, if he can feel a truly loving hand for the first time, he will drop all of this weird dominance crap and realise how a relationship should be” Ahhh. The story of my 20s. Toxic toxic toxic 🙈
Totally agree with masculine toxicity! I tried reading the book but I couldn't. I've watched all 3 movies!
Brilliant work!
Spot on!!!! Well done, you got this exactly right
The most I have been able to read of this trash was 20 pages. The movie is just terrible overall. If Christian had been a person of color, the world would have said that he was a sexual predator. But thanks to his whiteness, he gets a pass and is celebrated as a great and protective lover. I remember Melanie Griffith when was asked about the movie in an interview. Dakota Johson was next to her. There was an awkward silence, you could tell the mother was embarrassed and tried very hard not to say something she would regret later. lol This image has stayed with me since. It's too bad because Dakota is a good actress. I'm glad she picked better movies after that.
Haha great. I can't get myself to watch the movies let alone read the book... Great critique
I'm glad someone took down the mighty book pusher EL, lol!
