Husband Allegedly Arranged Wife's Rape by Strangers: “You Will Die Alone,” Daughter Confronts Father in Court

When a man in France was accused of allegedly arranging the rape of his wife by strangers, his daughter shouted at him in open court, “You will die alone like a dog,” plunging the courtroom into complete silence.

This intense exchange between father and daughter marked a deeply emotional moment in a historic and highly sensitive trial — a moment only those present could truly feel.

Dominique Péllicot, the father standing in the dock, faces grotesque allegations. His wife, Gisèle Péllicot, was also present — a woman who had allegedly suffered a lifetime of abuse at his hands. Their daughter, Caroline, was the third party — the one whose childhood nude photos were discovered by police on her father’s laptop.

In her testimony, Caroline spoke about the immense pain caused by her father’s continuous lies. With a voice filled with emotion, she told the court that her life “came to a complete stop” when, in 2020, police first informed her about the existence of her nude photos on her father’s computer.

This case recently shocked all of France due to the horrific nature of the charges: a man allegedly arranged for multiple strangers to rape his 72-year-old wife. The 71-year-old accused, Dominique, reportedly used the internet to hire these strangers, who were invited to the home where the assaults continued for nearly a decade.

He is also accused of raping his wife himself after drugging her. According to her lawyers, she was rendered unconscious with medication and was completely unaware these assaults were taking place.

This week, when Dominique was given a chance to address his daughter in court, he said he had always wished for her support. He stood behind a glass enclosure for protection, with his family members seated before him in the courtroom.

“Some may laugh,” he said, “but I want to look into my daughter’s eyes. I want to see her. I want to talk to her.” As his voice began to crack, Caroline stood up and shouted: “I will never come to see you. Never. You will die alone like a dog.”

Dominique replied, “We all die alone.”
Caroline responded, “Especially you.”

This was the final bitter exchange between father and daughter, who, according to many, once shared a close and loving relationship.

Dominique recalled visiting Caroline while she was recovering from surgery, embracing her to offer strength. He shared memories of her childhood. Even as he repeatedly said he would always love her, Caroline sat silently, staring ahead, tears falling from her eyes.

As the session came to a close, she approached him and yelled: “You had two months (to tell the truth).”

Answering questions, Péllicot admitted he had become addicted to sex, and when the police uncovered his crimes in November 2020, he felt as if “a weight had been lifted.”

He denied that his crimes were driven by an inferiority complex or a desire to punish his wife for an affair she had in the 1980s.

When asked about chemical submission — using drugs to overpower or assault someone — he said, “It’s wrong. It erases everything. It should never be done.”

Following his statement, Gisèle Péllicot’s legal team addressed the court with their closing arguments. The lawyers of the other 50 accused individuals will begin presenting their closing statements next week.

There is a possibility that the court will closely examine whether many of the accused were unaware that Gisèle was unconscious and therefore did not realize they were committing rape.

This week, Gisèle’s lawyers spoke for three hours, detailing the horrific crimes committed by her husband and describing specific events.

Her lawyer, Khemis, stated: “Everyone played their part in this demonic game, extending the suffering of one woman.”

He urged the judges to deliver a sentence that reflects the gravity of the atrocities committed against Gisèle and her family.
