Woman Chomps Off Penis of Her Rapist During Attack

In the words of comedian Kevin Hart, “you gon learn today.”

Dennis Slaton thought he would force a woman to give him oral sex against her will. The woman bit off his penis instead.

Dennis Slaton, a 61-year-old convicted sex offender, picked up a woman at a gas station on August 8, 2019, and, at knifepoint, took her to his Greenville, South Carolina home. There, Slaton sexually assaulted the woman.

Slaton met the woman at the gas station while driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck. She originally offered Slaton $5 for a ride to a market. She wanted to pick up potato salad. Slaton pulled a knife on her as soon as she was inside the truck.

Slaton pocketed the woman’s cell phone and ordered her to take her clothes off. She complied then Slaton told her he would kill her if she went near his pants.

Slaton Forces Woman to Perform Oral Sex

Slaton, a stocky 230-pound man, forced the woman onto his bed and climbed atop of her. He told the woman how much he hated whores and how “whores kept taking his money.” He informed the woman that he would kill her when he was done with her.

He then forced the woman’s head onto his penis and demanded she perform oral sex on him. The woman had no intentions of being a victim that day. She immediately took action.

As she went down on his penis, she bit down and did not let go, taking the man’s penis clear off. She then grabbed the knife out of his hand and stabbed him in the left butt cheek. The woman said she left the knife lodged in his buttocks and took off running.

Slaton followed the woman down the hallway and caught up to her. Luckily, she fought off the man by kicking him and managed to escape out of the back door.

The completely nude woman ran to the man’s neighbor's house begging for help. They would not open the door or were not home. She continued running until she reached a Waffle House Employees gave the woman clothes and called the police.

Police Find Woman at Waffle House

When police arrived at the Waffle House, the woman was crying and sweating. She wore a polo shirt and covered her legs with plastic trash bags. The woman told them Slaton was likely “bleeding out” then described the incident that had just occurred. However, she was unapologetic (rightfully so) about the injuries she caused to the man, telling police “I wanted to live. I did not know that I had done that to him, but he told me that he was going to kill me.”

Police located Slaton at his home a short time later using a description of the vehicle and home where she was assaulted. Police immediately spotted women’s clothes in the driveway and blood on a side door. Slaton was “covered in blood” when he finally came to the door.

74 Visits From Police; Arrest Record

Slaton was well known to police. In the five years prior to this incident, they’d visited his home 74 times. In 1989, Slaton was convicted of attempted rape and sodomy. Since he was known to carry weapons, police ordered him to lie on the ground and placed him in handcuffs.

He claimed to police that he was the victim and claimed that he was lucky to be alive. “It was pretty bad, pretty tragic, what happened to me,” Slaton told The Greenville News. “If things had not transpired as they had, I would have been found here at my house dead.”

Additional Charges Filed

After his arrest, two additional women, both sex workers, came forward with similar claims. In one incident, Slaton was listed as the “victim” after the unidentified woman called police to report that he had sexually assaulted her. They even issued a “trespass” warrant against the woman. He was charged in the incident that occurred in 2015.

In September 2021, Slaton died at Prisma Health Center in Greenville. All pending charges against him were dropped after his death.
