The Mansehra Horror: Who Killed 10-Year-Old Sufyan?
A peaceful vacation turned into a nightmare—what happened to little Sufyan is beyond human comprehension.

I never imagined we would see days so dark. Each new day brings news more painful and horrifying than the last. Just when you think you've heard the worst, something even more disturbing surfaces—leaving your heart shaken, your soul trembling, and your mind numb.
Sufyan, a beautiful 10-year-old boy from Karachi, had gone to spend his vacation joyfully with his mother at his maternal grandparents' home in Mansehra. It was meant to be a happy break from school. Two days ago, on a Tuesday, a neighbor living near his grandfather’s house lured Sufyan away with the promise of showing him a dog. The boy stepped out innocently, saying he was going out to play—but he never returned.
Twenty-four hours later, Sufyan’s mutilated body was found in a stormwater drain. His chest had been cut open, partially stitched, and gruesomely torn. His head was missing. The sight of the body was so horrific that his mother, driven mad with grief, repeatedly slammed her head against the walls until she bled. The father, who had sent his son away for the holidays, returned to bury him instead.
Police launched an intensive search for the missing head, but it was nowhere to be found. Sufyan’s mother refused to bury her son without it. Eventually, a man named Najeebullah was arrested and confessed to the killing. The family feared that once the burial took place, the authorities would stop looking for the head. But police assured them that the search would continue.
After much convincing, the funeral prayer was held. Just one hour later, Sufyan’s head was discovered near the home of the accused murderer.
Try to imagine this level of horror. Try to understand how a human being could descend into such barbarity—to separate a child’s head from his body, slice open his chest, remove internal organs, and crudely stitch him back together. Try to feel, for a moment, what Sufyan must have endured. The terror he must have felt. The cries he must have uttered. The desperate prayers, the pleading hands, the whispers of “Mama” and “Allah,” before finally falling silent.

So much cruelty.
So much savagery.
So much inhumanity.
Astaghfirullah—God, have mercy on us.
Every day brings a new horror. Every headline more devastating than the one before.
There can never be a justification for such evil. No reason is valid for this kind of brutality. A person who commits such an atrocity deserves no place among the living. And someone who murders a child should be executed in the town square—for all to see. Only then will minds like his think twice before even imagining such a crime.
May God grant patience to Sufyan’s mother and his family. May He protect all our children and keep them safe from such monsters. Ameen.
So far, the postmortem report has not been released. But the condition of Sufyan’s body suggests this was not the work of one man. Beheading a child, cutting open his torso, removing and sewing organs—this reeks of something far more sinister. Possibly a gang.
In this country, murderers often walk free. That’s why we must raise our voices to protect our children and future generations. Speak up. Write. Share. Let there be no silence until the killer and his network face true justice.
[Edit: Latest Update]
News just came in: the accused murderer was shot dead while in police custody—allegedly by his own accomplices. But he died before investigators could reach the rest of the gang.
If this wasn’t the act of a lone individual, where are the missing organs? Who were they handed to? Were they preserved? Were they trafficked? Used in black magic? Or sold on the dark web?
Who will answer these questions?
