DB Cooper
On November 24, 1971, a man calling himself Dan Cooper boarded Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 305 from Portland to Seattle. Cooper, who was later dubbed "DB Cooper" by the media, was dressed in a dark suit and tie, carrying a black briefcase. He took a seat in the rear of the plane, ordered a bourbon and soda, and calmly informed the flight attendant that he had a bomb in his briefcase.
