A Family's Betrayal
On February 11 2011, a 10-year-old girl Nubia Docter Barahona was abused and murdered. On February 14 2011, her body was found in the pickup truck bed of her adoptive father in West Palm Beach Florida, wrapped in a plastic garbage bag. Today's case is a terrible one from Miami Florida, that has yet to receive justice. It's one that has truly bothered and enraged me; children are meant to feel safest at home, and while that is true for the majority of them, there are children in this country who have to fight for their lives the moment they walk through their front doors and that is regrettable the circumstance in today's case as well.
