Worthless
Shawn always managed to find a way to regain his role as the puppet master in my life. I think I am taking two steps forward, and he makes it his duty to knock me 10 steps backwards. If my success and accolades are not directly due to him, he is not genuinely happy for me. He has to always have the last laugh, but this time, I have nothing more to lose. If it is a game he wants, then let's play, and I will happily make him star of the show.

Lost Lovers
"Hello, is this Samantha?" I asked. I actually knew that it was her already, I would know her voice in a crowded coffee shop. I have been watching her for a while now. I found her as I was searching for my next lover. She was shopping at the local grocery store, careful in picking items before she put them in her cart. She has short brown hair, the greenest eyes you have ever seen, and such an innocent look about her. She never wears any makeup, at least never when I have studied her. I guess that is where I get the innocent look from when describing her. I know she is anything but innocent and that is why she will be my next lover.

How to Lose Gangsters and Alienate Them
I saw you once before and you looked like the average Joe passing me by in the crowd. One week later, I sat on a bench thinking about going back to go back to England, overwhelmed by my experience and the discomfort of meeting a dodgy character who had started to bother me. I could safely say I was no longer enjoying my time here in Spain. Six days into my travels and I’ve had enough.

The Man Behind Jack the Ripper
“So, all of it was a lie?” My quivering voice betrayed me as I confronted him. He stood there, silent, with his eyes avoiding mine. The light from the candle behind him gave his whole appearance a mysterious shadow. God only knows what would happen if anyone saw me standing in a young man’s home unaccompanied, although society's cage was far from my mind.

Paycheck
I lie in bed waiting for a voice automated call to disclose the next location of my target. I start to ponder the different career choices that others have, and my previous targets. If I were to be in a different field of work, there would certainly be more people on the planet. I could be a banker, a bartender, maybe even a dancer. Instead, I'm an assassin.

The Doll House
This is fun, although you probably would not agree, unless you have been caught and are now sitting on death row. I have the perfect location and nobody will ever find it. It is so far into the depth of the forest, only the animals know where it is. I like to think of it as my personal little doll house. I just got a new addition and I am so excited to have them join my collection.

Death by Chocolate
It had been a long day for Bridgett, she was an RN at the Trinity Hospital, and had just pulled a double shift. Walking towards the door, she heard Shelly at the front desk call out to her. Turning around, she sees Shelly rushing towards her, carrying what looks like a big box of chocolates. "These were delivered for you earlier, seems somebody knows about your sweet tooth!"

Disney Fun
It was close to quitting time and Mitch hadn't the patience to run the roller coaster one last time. He'd been stuck here for 10 hours, watching the people get on and get off. It was an endless cycle that never changed. He knew he could probably do this in his sleep, it didn't take a rocket scientist to push the levers.

Nursery Rhymes
I don't know what my folks were thinking when they scribbled my name on my birth certificate. It doesn't exactly scream strong and intelligent woman over here, but it suits my job just fine. People hear Indigo Barbie and expect a petite blond bimbo, I am anything but and like seeing the element of surprise on their faces.

When the High Bell Tolls
It's been exactly five months since she went missing. The calm well mannered kind girl that I love. I think it's a one-way thing. We were supposed to go on our first date four months and a 29 days ago. I've been spreading fliers everywhere I go. On the bus, school, at church, even at restaurants. But I still haven't got any clues as to where she might be.

The Vagabond
“See you matey.” “All the best.” “Take care.” It appeared that Sergeant Major Steven Blackwood couldn’t walk more than five yards before another army walla wished him the best of luck. The army had been good to him. For the last twenty-five years it had been his mother, his father and his best friend.
