Black Book
Chapter 1 Humble Beginnings Every day starts off just the same, the sun rises up, I stretch my body as long as I can , wiggle my feet , and start my day. Life was so much easier when I was a child and didn't have to worry about getting up to do anything but go to school. Now things have changed and I have a career and people depending on me to money in their pocket and food in their families mouth. Big responsibility, I know. I feed them and in turn they feed me more. Just how it works.

Black Light
“Are you planning on leaving your bottom half here? ‘Cause all of you ain’t leaving.” Bright lights above swirl endlessly. Before all was well, the party was almost perfect, aside from being packed in a sardine can with a bunch of high and drunk-- just turned twenty-one-- kiddos. Now, suddenly the constant headache-inducing flashes have me feeling nauseated.

Knowing that I couldn't go back into the neighborhood corner store. I was caught stealing a beer. Too broke to buy my own. Still managed to maintain my respect from the work I put in. My life is now of a pee-on.

HALLUCINATION
SAM: "Sam, wake up." I heard my mom calling my sleeping soul in her sluggi voice. "Wake up kid, someone is at the door". The bell rang again. This time I gathered all my courage and got off the bed. I pushed my body to walk to the door, with partially opened eyes. The rain was pouring heavily outside, with the roar of thunder. I opened the door.

The Ripper Case
Nightfall came, pouring rain beat against a decade-old black Charger. The rain, fell hard and fast, making it hard to see through the window. With all the dings, the dented front fender, and rust spots on the rear, nobody knew this was an off-duty vehicle. In the darkness of night, beneath heavy rain, nobody noticed the lone detective sitting there, hunting a serial killer known as The Ripper.

Hell is Hard to Find
He hadn’t laid eyes on her in over a year. No one had, really. But that seems to be common considering the circumstances under which she had departed--gone without a trace and for no apparent reason. This tends to disturb the people closest to you, in this case a longtime lover, and can hardly be considered a welcome exit strategy.
