Tide Pod Challenge
Since this is my first writing on here, I want to clarify that this article is all based on my opinion about the current issue we have today, the Tide pod challenge. First, I’d like to say is what is the point of this challenge in the first place? I mean to me a challenge must have a point to it. For example, the Ice Bucket challenge. For a while I never understood the point of dumping ice cold water on myself. I did not see the message it was promoting until my boyfriend explained it to me. In case others do not know it either, the purpose of the Ice Bucket challenge was to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, (ALS). If I had known that was the purpose of it I would have participated in it because it is a good thing to promote, but the Tide pod challenge—there is no point for it, besides, possibly, people being suicidal.

The Crime of Crimes
People have been on the planet Earth for many, many years, and in those many years, there have been thousands and thousands of heinous crimes committed. Those crimes include the following: child and spousal abuse, rape, burglary, stolen identity, and murder. Many people would say that murder is the worst crime anyone could ever even fathom committing. Others would argue that rape takes the cake. Although it almost always comes down to a matter of personal opinion, rape will always be worse than murder.

Creepy Neighbor
It happened to me when I was 13 and at an age to where many girls go through body image changes, and I was one of them. I didn't look like other girls my age. I already was well-developed and had the body of a grown woman, which made me very insecure. I was really obsessed with weight loss and had really low self-esteem. Eliminating Bail
Bail is when money is given to the court so a defendant can leave jail until their trial; it's also a promise that the defendant will show up for that trial. But if a defendant cannot afford a thousand dollar bail, guilty or not, they’re stuck in jail until their trial. America needs to remove the bail system. Bail does extreme harm and very little to no good.

Smarter Than They Thought
The city’s changed. The scum of the earth have all swarmed here. They've made the clean, pure soul that once gave this place life dirtier than the sub-human scum that populate it. McDonald’s closed a few days ago. I sit here without joy. Without faith. Without trousers. I draw a cigarette gracefully from a container, ignite one, and take a long hit. I have to do it. I can’t think of another way to relish in the noir style I’m clearly going for. What a waste of £3.50. I’m glad I didn’t go for Egyptian cigarettes like the good detectives do. They probably cost even more—£3.51 or something crazy.
