Jussie Smollett: GUILTY
Jussie Smollett had lost his livelihood when he was fired in 2020 from his hit TV show, Empire. That was long before a jury found him guilty on five of six charges, including lying to police. He’d lied and invented a hoax about how he’d been attacked by two white men one night in Chicago, in 2019. The truth was, he’d paid two Nigerian black men to help him stage the attack, likely for publicity.

The Unsolved Murder of Bonny Lee Bakley
Bonny Lee Bakley was fatally shot while sitting in a parked car outside a Los Angeles restaurant in May 2001. While an unsolved murder alone would be enough to garner interest in her case, the fact that she was married to Robert Blake, best known as a child actor in The Little Rascals and for his later crime drama, Baretta, was enough to create even more interest in the case. She was Blake’s second wife and he was her tenth husband. It was his car she happened to be sitting in when she was murdered.

Bonnie & Clyde: Ride and Die
Prelude I have always been drawn to Bonnie Parker, in fact, I have often joked that I am her reincarnation, that I am paying in this life for her sins. Maybe. Or maybe it is the romanticized media views of who they were that have me drawn to her. However much I thought I knew about them prior to writing this proved to me that the world had tainted their story to match an agenda that suited them. I imagine I could research them for years and still not fully understand all that I need to understand about them. I assure you, even the best research in the world will not account for everything as only Bonnie and Clyde themselves would know the fullest of their story, however, I have given you a solid effort.
