On January 4, 2007, in New Orleans, six lives were taken. One of those lives was that of Helen Wingard Hill, an artist, writer, filmmaker, and activist. Helen was a native of Columbia, South Carolina, where she had graduated high school in 1988. While an unsolved murder alone would be enough to garner interest in her case, the fact that she was married to Robert Blake, best known as a child actor in The Little Rascals and for his later crime drama, Baretta, was enough to create even more interest in the case. She was Blake’s second wife and he was her tenth husband. It was his car she happened to be sitting in when she was murdered.

The Deaths of Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabralez-Arzola
On November 13, 2021, aspiring model and social media influencer Christy Giles, age 24, was found dead on a sidewalk outside Southern California Hospital in Carver City. Earlier that evening, she had been out at a warehouse party in Los Angeles with her friend Hilda Marcela Cabralez-Arzola. Two hours after Christy’s body was found, 26-year-old Hilda was found at another hospital located in West Los Angeles. She was alive but in critical condition.
