Okay, so let me tell you this absolutely insane real crime I came across. It’s about this girl, Christina, who just couldn’t let go of her ex. Like, I’m talking next-level obsessed. And what started as a breakup turned into something way darker than anyone could’ve imagined.

The Red Flags Started Early—But He Brushed Them Off

So Christina and this guy, Torney, dated for a while, right? But things didn’t work out, and he broke it off. Nothing too weird—except she just didn’t take it well. Even after he moved away, she kept calling, texting, and DMing him.

Then, randomly, she shows up at his place in Sweden and literally asks to stay at his house. Bold move. He thought it was weird, obviously, but tried to stay civil. When she invited him on a weekend mountain trip, he politely declined—honestly hoping that would be the end of it.

Spoiler: it wasn’t.

“It’s Over.” But She Pretended Not to Hear It

By January 2007, Torney finally tells her straight up—we’re done, we’re not seeing each other again. But Christina? She acts like the convo never happened. Still calling, still texting, still pushing for meetups.

And then—plot twist—she tells him she had his baby. Yeah. Out of nowhere. She says she gave the child up for adoption and now wants him to meet the kid.

Thing is… the math didn’t add up. Torney was like, “Wait… when was this supposed to happen?” Because their last intimate moment was over a year ago, and Christina had never even hinted at being pregnant.

Manipulation, Fake Stories, and a Missing Baby That Never Existed

She kept dodging questions, changing up the details every time. Then, in January 2008, she drops another bomb—says their imaginary son has a hereditary illness, and they have to go to Germany together to see him.

To make it seem legit, she even had some guy call Torney, pretending to be the child’s adoptive father. But the guy couldn’t answer basic questions like what hospital was he born in or when. Major red flag.

That’s when Torney’s current girlfriend, Emma, was like, “Dude, she’s messing with you. There is no baby.” And yep—she was right. Christina made the whole thing up and had someone pretend to be the dad.

The Police Got Involved—And the Truth Was Even Worse

After the cops got wind of the whole fake baby thing, they tracked down Christina—but she had just packed up and left for Germany. The Swedish police had to get their German counterparts involved.

She was finally arrested on March 20, but acted super chill like it was all a mistake. Even when she got extradited back to Sweden, all she wanted was to see Torney. She kept asking for him—like this was just a breakup drama, not a violent crime.

Creepy Clues: Obsession Taken Way Too Far

Then things got real creepy. Investigators searched Christina’s place—and guess what? Her laptop was full of photos of Torney, including pics of his new girlfriend Emma and her kids. Yeah, not just cute selfies, but full-blown stalker behavior.

She had a folder titled something horrifying and wrote threatening captions under the photos. Search history? Stuff like:

• How to commit murder without leaving traces

• How to hide evidence

• How to divert suspicion

Also? She literally had a map of Torney and Emma’s home, with notes on when he left, when he got back, and their daily routine. That’s full-blown premeditation right there.

Emma Survived… But Had No Memory At First

Emma survived the attack but was in a coma for a while. When she finally woke up, she didn’t remember anything. She thought she’d been in a car crash. The doctors didn’t tell her right away what had actually happened—or that her kids were dead.

When they finally broke the news, she was devastated. Like, her brain couldn’t even process it. She forgot it every time and had to be told again. Over and over. 😔

Eventually, they took her back to the crime scene… and that’s when it all came flooding back.

I Saw Her Face… She Was the Last Thing I Remember

Emma remembered everything. She was texting her sister, setting the table. The kids were playing nearby. Then there was a knock on the door.

She opened it—and saw a short, dark-haired woman. Next thing she knew, there was pain… and blackness. She tried to stop her, tried to save the kids, but collapsed in the hallway.

The face she saw? Christina.

The Trial: Twisted Smiles and Cold-Blooded Lies

When the trial began on July 29, 2008, Christina walked into the courtroom smiling and waving. When they showed the crime scene photos, she laughed.

Yeah. Laughed.

People thought she must be insane, but the psych eval said otherwise. She knew exactly what she was doing. And she enjoyed it.

Emma saw her in court, fainted on the spot, and when she woke up—she confirmed it again: “That’s her. That’s the face I saw.”

Life in Prison—No Chance of Parole

Despite her lawyer’s attempts to deny everything, the jury found Christina guilty on all counts:

• Double murder with particular cruelty

• Attempted murder

• Stalking and psychological abuse

She got life in prison with no chance of parole. Plus, she was ordered to pay €20,000 in compensation to Emma.

Oh, and the “baby”? Never existed. No pregnancy. No adoption. Just one sick lie after another.

A New Beginning, But the Pain Remains

By engin akyurt on Unsplash

Emma eventually recovered. Slowly. Physically and mentally. Torney stayed by her side the whole time.

They got married in the summer of 2010 and now have two children together. But they never forget the ones they lost. They’ve told their kids the truth. Their story is painful—but also powerful.
