Released from Jail into a World of Pandemia!! pt. 5

Hey it's Rachel the transitioning hobo chick in Austin, Texas. I'm still in the apt, abstaining from drug use, working on my common law marriage, and preparing for a jury trial for the cps case. Never thought we would fall victim of such odd tenancy issues as we have been though...

Let's see the last one of these I wrote just after we moved into the apartment in North Austin. Luckily during the February freeze we were fortunate that an old friend from San Antonio graced us with her presence to help with the move and thusly ended up stuck at our house and couch surfing for the duration of that freeze. I say luckily because life literally stopped for most the Southerners here since snow weather is obviously something they rarely ever have to deal with. Especially not 3 or 4 feet of snow and completely frozen bridges.

Moving in Feb. 1st 2021 before the snow

Ok so after a grueling 8 months of living in the Extended stay we chose the only other homeless couple that we knew decently well which had been able to keep up with their own hotel rent for I think they said they had been living in hotels loosely for about 12 years or so. Basically ever since they themselves had become convicted felons and there fore rendering them incapable of getting a legitimate full time job worth working and renting a home/ apartment etc. The snow came like maybe a week after we had all gotten enough furniture from all the local bulk pickup areas around town to furnish 2 apartments. Like I said my friend got stuck with us which luckily she did because her previous home lost power multiple times during the freeze. She had just bought herself a brand new toyota tacoma or tundra too so me being from Tennessee I was like its just a little bit of snow man it cant have shut down the whole city... lol IT DID in fact shut down Austin Texas for almost 3 weeks.

This was the first time any of us had let the house really and the snow was 2 feet on the truck alone

So at least we had some transportation even though everything was closed or seriously empty shelves all over. We also have a fireplace in our apartment which honestly I'm so thankful for because the central air/heat wasn't doing all that well. We didn't lose power but we did have a water pipe burst. It's a 30 year old quadruplex though and I doubt everyone was letting their faucets drip like I had been in our apt at least. Anyway needless to say shortly after the freeze was over and our friend drifted off about her own business back to her life our room mates quickly became our enemies. We signed the lease after paying a $4800 deposit and agreeing to take the place as is and also that we would fix anything that arises or needs repair on our own without trying to use that to get a discount on rent.

So the room mates had a cat and we have the Kaido face who is a grouchy dog that thinks he is a person. He is a registered and trained fully certified seizure alert and response dog and well more a part of the family than the crappy boyfriend of the decent room mate. I'm glad that they did move out though because we just found out early on how little us and our favor of letting them move into the place so that they could save money while we did as well until our daughter comes home,. I was hoping to build a rapport with the landlord so that we could maybe get them moved into their own place deposit free when the time came. Meh stuff happens... Unfortunately they did break the lease contract as well as the verbal storing their stuff contract so the cops were called when the girl tried to force her way into my house after having left us without warning on rent day when they knew it was their alternating month to loan us what we were short on the first just till the following Friday.

You guessed it they failed to pay anything and also left their crap in here in my way for almost 2/3 rd of the month then didn't wasn't to pay their half like was discussed had they not picked up their belongings the following Monday I was told I could go ahead and box everything up so that it could be more easily stored until they picked it up. If only their stuff wouldn't have taken up almost half of my entire living space maybe I'd not have gotten tired of it being in the way so quickly and noticed when someone was snooping through it... I later found out that the move out was part of their plan because we were not to be late with rent again already and they knew they were responsible for that and they intentionally eft us high and dry so that the landlord would evict us and then they could swoop in and keep the place. NOPE!! I had already become quite close with the landlord at this point and yea they ended up just looking like really terrible manipulative people.

Any who My husband and I hade entered a really tricky but convenient business arrangement with the landlord. Had it all played out the way we had hoped then we would be golden right about now or at least caught up and putting money away. But as it stands my landlord last spoke to me the night that our mutual best friend whom we were letting stay with us in between his sisters baby sitting needs because he was a positive influence being that he had good work ethic, minimal criminal history (which is saying something because he was also houseless), and as far as we know he was in good standing with his sobriety as well. Any way this friend had witnessed a lot of fighting between hubby and I as of late and the two of us very nearly broke up a going on 8 year relationship 3 times. I thought if I left babe out of anger one day that I would take our buddy with me and just take off for a while. Nothing physical at this point I am not a cheater nor him a homewrecker plus the only thing I'd ever told any of our friends about my relationship future past my husband and I was that I would go back to dating only women if we had broken up because I just don't think I can train another one... lol jk

Well after the 3 of us collectively remodeled the landlords commercial property entirely, learned how to run her Music store/sweepstakes social lounge, opened it and got it running smoothly except for the software people that she chose to go with turned out to be scams... So the friend and babe have an altercation about me. The land lord has already gotten upset and fired my husband once and the friend once just because she was not happy with something or another. Oh did I mention she and her wife are tai wanese and the landlord is not so good at english but learning very quickly since she took me on with the promise that she would help me stay off the streets and win my cps case. She had done it already for a previous tenant who in turn ended up stealing her furniture when she moved out after they won her cps case...

UGGGHHH My laptop is dying I guess I will have to continue telling you about the very inconsistent Landlord and the progression through all that drama up until now. Which I can tell you isn't as I had hoped at all but the P.A.G.E. A.C.T. of 2021 is picking up with momentum so the whole reason I feel like I exist may actually be a reality before I meet my ultimate demise... Parents Against Governmental Exploitation and Child Trafficking is a group I created to help spread the word about the exposure of CPS corruption and to educate other families and save our future!! Because our future is the children they are tearing from their families without due process. the children who have no voice because they are unable to speak to or visit those who actually love them... That's a whole other story we will get to though soon enough... Until next time! Have a Blessed day and Pay it forward when you can!
