No Risk No Reward
Would you risk your life for a bag of money?

Little Black Book
It all started as anything else these days, you know, with a 4am Instagram scroll. An ad, $20,000 for a story is this real? So what if it isn’t my mind is racing with ideas. I read through the comments and the rules, you have to sign up, pay, then you can submit your story and they are partnering with these notebooks. I’m really a nerd and I love notebooks, I’ve got to get one of these moleskin notebooks and just let it flow, I have a month until the deadline lets see how it goes. It started as a chaotic regular day, hyper obsessed with my to do list. I got a text that I got a package downstairs and thought ooo I wonder what it is, seeing as how I was drunk a few nights ago and I ordered everything in my saved for later Amazon cart. By then honestly it had slipped my mind that I ordered a notebook at 4am from an IG ad hoping I could write that million dollar story they were looking for. There it was my little black book it was beautiful, the energy was so exciting, the possibilities. There it was it was real I had to pick one of the ideas racing in my head and get to work. I just had to I could feel this was the opportunity for me.
The Story Begins
This is Nalani my best friend, she is the most beautiful baddest friend I could have wished for. Me I’m Roxy, me and Nalani do everything together, we meet up and walk to school together everyday, we have all of our classes together and we work together afterschool. One day we went out back, the back of the mall where we throw the trash out. That’s where we go to smoke everyday. 420 bitches! Then we hit the food court, but today was different. While we were smoking, we heard someone coming our way, being at work naturally we put the blunt out and hid. A man in a suit was on the phone he sounded panicked he said, “look man do what we discussed, they are gonna come find me soon I just send you the coordinates. I’ve got to get out of here” he placed a duffle bag in between the dumpsters and put some trash on it. As he turned to leave the door swung open and two men pushed through. Me and Nalani scared af at this point wondering if we were about to witness a murder. They roughed him up asking where it was and he finally said he was there getting rid of some evidence and it was somewhere secure he would take them right now, they grabbed him by the neck and shoved him through the door. I was shook insisting we get back to work before something worse happened, Nalani was dying to look in the duffle. It was full of cash! Like wildest dreams cash! I said you know they’ll kill us! She said they’ll never find us. We dumped our trash, threw the duffle in the trash bag and went back to work.
We got home dumped the money on the bed! Threw it in the air! Danced around the room! There had a to be a million dollars! Folding clothes for $8/hour tuh not me honey. We counted out $20,000, that is when the trouble between me and Nalani started. Of course we should quit, no we shouldn’t, we need new cars, no we should stay acting like we don’t got it so we don’t get caught or robbed. We disagreed about everything! She even said it was all hers! Could you believe that!?
The next days things to a turn for the worst, even though we agreed to act like nothing happened at least for a couple of days until we could agree on a plan. When we showed up to work, honey when we pulled up to the mall, there were police everywhere! Should we leave? Should we still go to work? Should we ask someone what’s going on? Fuck!
Before we knew it an officer approached us, he asked if we were there yesterday, we said yes we work here. The officer informed us there had a been a murder and asked if we’d seen this man showing us a picture of the man in the suit. Nalani looked like she had seen a ghost, the officer said, “from the looks of it you know him?” I jumped in saying he came into our store yesterday and he was a very nice man is all and I asked if he was the victim or suspect, he said the victim and our hearts dropped. What have we gotten ourselves into!? He told us the mall was closed for the day and we should call him if we remember anything else.
WTF!
I had started what I thought to be an interesting story, but I hit a roadblock. I decided to go for a drive me and my little black notebook. Drove to my favorite go to thinking spot, I went for a run, had a stretch at the car, had some water and sparked up a joint for the ride home. I pulled in my building and sat in the garage for a moment to finish my joint. My plan was to shower and get back to writing. When I saw a panicked man come down the stairs throw a bag under a car and in the mist of running away as soon as he gets of the garage he was snatched into a white van. I thought to myself no way did that just happen, he just carpooling that’s all. My curiosity got the best of me ad I want to check the bag, a bag of money! No way! I put it in my trunk and drove back to the park to think. When I got home cops all over my building asking if I’d seen this man today showing me his picture. Me thinking what have I got myself into!? Saying no I’d just come from a run, I parked took the bag and went upstairs! Wondering if it was a coincidence, if I was crazy, or if my story was actually coming true. I decided the only way to find out is to keep writing but I had to be more careful how my girls Roxy and Nalani ended up because apparently that could be me!
Back to the Story
We decided we are in this together. Step one: we have to clean the money. We chose to start a makeover business and quit our jobs. We got an llc, opened bank accounts, and designed a website. For $200 you get your hair and makeup done and for $500 you get hair, makeup, and 3 outfits. We opened the business 50/50 and every Monday we make the deposit. Whatever we earned, plus $1,000. Oh and we heard the suspects were caught trying to flee the state. What a relief no one had any idea we ere involved and we intended on keeping our mouths shut. We were young and now, rich entrepreneurs. We could do anything. We started non-profits, created jobs in our community, and became well respected Real Estate Moguls.
Is it a Magical Manifesting Notebook?
I fell asleep after finishing the story about Nalani and Roxy in the little black book. Time to find out if it’s really magic, I checked the news constantly to see if they’d been caught and after of day of anxiety, they were caught, case closed. I already had an EIN for my photography business, so I decided I’d just claim the money at the end of the year. So now not only was I rich, I had a magic notebook I could use to manifest my desires, but it’s like 3 wishes I have limited pages. With all they money I need, it is time to think. What’s my next wish?
