The king drove the jeweler away and said kindly to the fisherman, "Fisherman, you have been rewarded by Allah. I bless you with all my heart and will protect your life and wealth. Now you must tell me honestly, where did you get these jewels? King as I am, I have never seen such precious pearls."

"Your Majesty, I have a basket full of pearls and gems like these at home. The jewels..." The fisherman told the king how he had met the merman and how he had exchanged the jewels. At last he said, "I agreed with the merman that every day I would bring him a basket of fruits, and he would give me a basket of pearls and precious stones."

"It is your blessing, but you cannot protect your wealth without honor and position. I can protect your wealth, but one day I may be deposed, or I may die, and someone else may be king, and then you may die for your wealth. Therefore, I would like to make you a subordinate horse, make you prime minister, and rule that you should inherit the throne. That way, even after my death, your life and wealth will not be conspired against."

The king said, "You quickly take him to the bath to taste."

The squire took the fisherman to his bath, washed his body, dressed him in palace clothes, and then took him to court to meet the king. The king appointed him as prime minister, and sent many of his men to the fisherman's home, to his wife, sons put on gorgeous clothes, let his wife holding the youngest son sitting in the sedan, the family to the palace.

As soon as the fisherman's nine sons entered the house, the king embraced them one by one and made them sit down beside him. As the king had no son but a princess, he loved the fisherman's sons very much. In the harem, the Queen also treated the fisherman's wife with great pleasure, and they were as close as a family. Soon, the king announced to hire the fisherman as an attached horse, ordered judges and witnesses to marry the fisherman and the princess, with the fisherman's jewelry as the betrothal gifts, at the same time decorated the city, and held a grand wedding ceremony.

The king was very pleased when he summoned his horse.

The next morning at dawn, the king woke up from a dream and looked out of the window. He saw the fisherman going out with a basket of fruit on his head. He hurried up to him and asked, "What is that on your head, my dear husband? Where are you going?"

"I will take the fruit to Abdullah in the sea and exchange gifts with him."

"Good husband, this is not the time to find friends."

"I must keep my promise, or he'll say I'm broken. I am not a liar, nor will I forget old friends for pleasure." The fisherman explained why he had to meet a merman.

"You're right. Go see your friends. May Allah bless you." The king agreed to attach a horse to his friend.

The fisherman left the palace happily and went to the beach.

Along the way, only listen to people talk: "This is just married with the princess's son-in-law, he took fruit for jewelry to go. Some people, thinking he was a fruit seller, stopped him and asked, "Hello! How much is the fruit per jin? Sell it to me!" He did not want to offend, so he coped, saying;

"You wait till I come back."

He went straight to the beach to meet the mermaids and exchange presents.
