EXCLUSIVE: Reason First-Tory Lanez Breaks Silence In First On-Camera Interview with NBC
Attorneys for Lanez, who was convicted of shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion in 2022, say bullet fragments could be missing in the case.

In a cell in the California Men’s Colony, a Tory Lanez, broken and seemingly weary, explained his case for his own innocence.
Though locked up for over three years, he is emphatic that he is not guilty.
In the first interview with the press since the incident which landed him behind bars with NBC, he asserted that he doesn’t belong behind the wall.
He spoke of how he would never harm a woman “much less shoot” at a woman.
This is the absolute ridiculousness of Daystar Peterson. The evidence mounted and seemed to be overwhelming. Megan Thee Stallion’s words only solidified her position on Lanez’s ugly actions.

In the time that Lanez has spent in prison, has been stabbed seventeen times. This all could’ve been prevented if the young male would’ve taken time to think, he’d be a free man.
In his experience with taking in his time incarcerated, he has stated that he is trying to emphasize that he is not guilty. What evidence, however, does he possess that would lead to an overturned case besides round fragments?
He droned on and on about how he has trauma and is struggling with mental health. Yet, where is the proof to back up his claims?
Does he have elements of DNA or other pieces of evidence that would liberate him?
NBC might’ve given him too much credit for their news service. While they get a few more reads and views, Peterson will forever be promoted based on this sit-down with the convict.
He asked that a new jury look at material that had seemingly been overlooked. It is in his right to appeal, but that doesn’t mean he will be exonerated any time soon.
From the standpoint of anyone with operating eyes or ears, it’s clear that Lanez deserves his fate. He tried to distance himself from the victim, Megan Pete. By not wanting to say her name, is he protecting her or using irrationality?
What he has going for him is a pack of supporters who have no clue how wrong he was that day back in 2020. In a bid to try to change his position as a convicted felon, he is trying to curry favor with anyone who will hear his story. Enter NBC.
This broadcast giant is the only one, so far, to carry his story and convey it to the people. What this means is that Lanez will get a boost but not too much. He’ll find aid among those who already felt him to be innocent.
His pleas to be released from prison will most likely be silenced. In a world where entertainers get into trouble and can’t find their way out, Peterson’s crime against Pete is particularly heinous.
If he is to engage with the press, he should at least tell the truth. Every word from his mouth seems made up and not sincere. By being caged like a mad dog, he has demonstrated that he allegedly coordinated the stabbings.

All it took for him to say that he did the crime. Instead, he chose to suggest his innocence. What could’ve been his chance to reveal the reality behind that fateful day, he chose to insist he’s supposed to be a man walking in freedom.
He brought all of this out in the interview. He wanted to push the narrative that he is healing both physically and mentally. Why wasn’t he saying all of this healing business at the trial? Why didn’t he take the stand to defend himself from the rigors and hardships that he’s trying to overcome in his life?
Whatever the case may’ve been, NBC lost in all of this Lanez had a place to speak. Let them contemplate on that.
