Devil in her eyes
12.35 am Somewhere behind the aley a dark figure is lingering. Wind is blowing and picking old newspaper triming, spins it around in the air before slamming it on the ground by the shadowy figure.
‘Damn it!’ A sudden and very deep voice travels through the air and bounces on the building walls. Dark shadow turns to the left and tries to light a cigarette. A soft beam of light drops on the misters face lightning ever so angry eyes. His eyes were black and his lips were pale red perfectly matching with his deep voice. In between his teeth he had a cigarette that he was trying to light. Bushy eyebrows were falling on his eyelids making his eyes even more dark and angry. ‘Damn it!’ he yells again. ‘This damn lighter is useless!’ he says angrily and throws the lighter at the wall, shattering it into small pieces that skaters on the ground near him.
‘Well, well, well there is no need for this Norman is there?’ Another manly figure appears from around the corner. ‘Ech you wouldn’t know the struggle.’ Norman replies as he turns around.
‘Here. Have mine.’ another mister says when opening his palm passing a box of matches to Norman.
‘Thank you.’ Norman replies. For a second there was a silence and then the match lit up making a burning noise and finally Norman got what he wanted. He inhaled deeply and his eyes lit up with pleasure, after a second he exhaled and said ‘so Garry, have you got it?’
‘Yes I've got it’ Garry put his hand out holding a brown envelope.
‘Everything is in there’ he said before he turned away and left Norman standing alone in the dark alley.
12.55 am in the small apartment above the hairdresser. Blinds a shot close but a small light beam still managed to find a way to escape outside. The inside of the apartment smells like women’s perfume and mint. The walls are pale blue with big red and yellow roses painted on them. A brown sofa is placed in the corner and the opposite that matching brown armchair. next to the armchair a grey stool standing and on top of it stands a glass case with tulips and next to it half full ashtray. A pale thin arm reaches for the ashtray and flicks access ash of the cigarette. A big grey ball of smoke tumbles into the air, the apartment is full of smoke but the women sitting on the sofa across didn't seem to mind.
‘Look Savannah, it's time to do this otherwise you will anger her majesty and I will be the one to pay the prize.’ A woman sitting on the sofa said carefully. Her eyes were filled with fear. Her long brown hair was tightly put in a bun high on the head. She looked like she was in her fifties, her face was covered with worry wrinkles and she had really dark under bags that indicated that she hasn’t got a decent night's sleep in a long time. Her neck was all wrinkly and when she would talk it would move with every single word and every head tilt that she made. Perhaps this was the reason why she always would put a scarf around her neck no matter how hot it would be.
A woman in the armchair didn’t say anything, she just took another deep breath in and held it for a while before exhaling a big white cloud of smoke. She was a complete opposite to the woman on the sofa. She was young and extremely beautiful. Her rosy cheeks were silk smooth and her deep red lips were plump. Her eyes were really dark, almost black witch looked kinda weird with her gorgeous blond locks falling down her shoulders and on her chest. ‘Miss Peters, you have nothing to worry about, I have everything under control.’ Savannah replied to the woman across. ‘I don’t wanna be rude or disrespect you in any way but I am concerned about you, I feel that he is really close and we should be careful.’ Miss Peters said to Savannah, ‘I feel like this is just beginning and i don’t think that we should be doing that, at least not tonight, I think the best thing is to move to a different city where he would have troubles finding you and me.’ Savannah stood up and she looked more beautiful than sitting down, her hourglass figure would attract any male she wanted and she knew that. She was around the apartment before decking her cigarette, she looked at miss Peters and smiled in confidence and well, no-one could resist her smile and it worked with everyone. ‘ I know what I am doing, I have a mission and I won't let anyone stop me, now we have to go because it's almost time for it.’ Miss Peters got up and they both left the apartment.
