Caught by Chocolate brownies

Don’t worry it's not a lecture on weight gain or addiction to brownies.

How about a story on weed brownies? Yes, you’re right I’m talking about weed.

It was the summer of 2013 and summer vacations were around the corner.

Those days games like PUBG were not around and Facebook was the major source of distraction

for teenagers in school.

Oh, wait! Let me introduce you to the hero of our little story.

A typical Delhi guy goes to one of the most prestigious schools of Delhi which is Don Bosco School, New Delhi.

Friends call him ‘Chomu’. Now, you know what I meant by a typical Delhi guy but his parents named him Dhruv with a lot of brainstorming and love.

Who gonna tell those boys that don’t spoil his name? Definitely you people, oh sorry I think you also prefer ‘Chomu’ such a cruel world it is !!

So, Dhruv is an average looking guy who just turned 19 this year and his love for chocolates and brownies started right after Avantika turned 19 this year and she asked for Ferrero Rocher when Dhruv insisted her a lot to ask for a birthday present. I know, I know what you peeps are thinking that Ferrero Rocher is a big deal for a teenager even in 2021 and it was 2013 lol.

Oh stupid me I totally forgot to introduce Avantika.

She’s one of those girls who make seniors wait months before she accepts their friend request on FB.

Now you know what I’m talking about.

She got that amazingly cute smile on which the whole school is crushing like always when she passes by on top of that surprisingly straight and silky hair with a brownish natural touch which seems like she highlighted that but it’s natural peeps.

So, how could Dhruv turn her classmate down when she asks for a Ferrero Rocher and that too when he insisted on her like crazy.

After this great act of Dhruv’s his friends started calling him with various names like who won’t, I would have done the same if my miser friend has gifted someone silly expensive chocolate.

After few days summer vacations started and now Dhruv had no clue that how to impress his crush now.

But it looks like God is crazily blessing this guy cause by the end of the day he got a surprise gift from his dad which was a flagship phone by Samsung in the year 2013 it was the Samsung Galaxy S4.

All of a sudden he forgot all those worries that how to impress his school crush cause we all know how a guy in his teenage gets distracted by a smartphone.

First thing first let’s get an internet pack and what can do after that is to install all those distracting social media apps, Instagram was there but in India, it’s still sometimes when people are planning to make their personnel trash bin that time Facebook was everything teenage kids can ask for.

Now, what after scrolling over Facebook? It’s 12:00 midnight.

Dhruv got a smartphone and internet, earlier he used to lie to his parents that he needs to do a school project and keep doing other stuff on phone.

Now, he got bored of using Facebook and stalking activity feed of his crush, he then turned the lights off and jump to incognito mode the reason being he needs to do a quick research on human anatomy,

After searching for the best of the best material and doing some intense experiments on himself he got tired of studies after 30 mins and now at 2:05 am he got a notification that his crush liked his recent post and the damn guy he’s going to text her.

But as I mentioned God must be crazy that summer, he’s getting quick replies. Now, this idiot is on cloud seven.

The next day in between conversations he got the courage to ask her out and she said yes!! Can you believe this? This average looking guy whom everyone used to call ‘Chomu’ got a date with the hottest chick in his school.

The next day they go on date in the cafe which was on Hudson lane. The cafe was famous for its brownies. They ordered brownies and had some long idiotic conversation means what can you expect from those who are still in their twenties when it comes to a date and that too in 2013.

He got a call from his friend Devashish who’s like the total gipsy guy and four years older than Dhruv, that guy called him to ask for a treat for Dhruv’s new phone. Then Dhruv said he will bring brownies from the cafe.

Oh by the way Avantika already left the cafe cause her mom asked her to come early.

Now, Devashish asked Dhruv to smoke some stuff he got from Laxmi Nagar and Dhruv was acting cool cause he thinks after the first date he’s all grown up man.

Then, Devashish added some stuff to the brownies and told Dhruv that it will make it taste even better but Dhruv resisted this time that he can’t take anymore as he needs to reach home and he doesn’t want his eyes to look all red and head high, But Devashish forced him to take brownies home.

After reaching home, he saw that his parents were in hurry and leaving for his grandfather’s home as he was critical.

Now Dhruv was all alone and instead of throwing brownies he ate some and put the rest of it on the dining table.

He was all high now and go to his bed.

It was around 1:23 am when he heard some noises but ignored them cause he wasn’t able to think straight.

It’s 10:00 am in the morning and Dhruv comes downstairs and his head was still high but what he saw blew his mind !!

Some random guy was lying on the floor, things in the room were all messed up, the door lock was broken and the guy has a lot of cash and jewellery in his bag.

Dhruv started making noise and called his neighbours, then they called Police and this guy was one of the most wanted thieves in Old Delhi.

There were some traces of brownies on his lips and Dhruv got the visuals cleared that this was all done off the brownies leftover from the dining table.

Over the night this guy becomes popular as everyone thought that he caught the thief.

But that petty thief was ‘Caught by Chocolate Brownies’.

Fun fact- Belgium got the best chocolates in the world.
