Brookhaven Mayor John Ernst Attacks Rape Victim Online...
If Brookhaven PD had put the effort investigating the case he put into publicizing my rape on LinkedIn the rapist would be in Jail.

Dear John Ernst, Mayor of Brookhaven
You are the man that attacked a rape victim on LinkedIn.
I was raped in Brookhaven in November 2018. I was prevented from reporting it until July 2020 by the Pooler PD because they took copies of the evidence after they left me in my car for over two months, and took my cats as I was on my way to family. The Chatham County Sheriff's department took my Apple Electronics in June 2016 except for an Iphone with the man who raped me confessing he raped me in December 2018.
The Savannah Police Department, the Pooler Police department, the Brunswick police department, The Chatham County Sheriff's department all prevented me from reporting it. The only agency who cared - The Richmond County Sheriff Department Investigator Brarazon who even though it didn't happen in Richmond County asked about it.
I was a Juvenile Probation Officer for Chatham County, but no one in law enforcement has done anything to help. On Saturday, June 19th 2021, John Ernst, the Mayor of Brookhaven, a UGA law school attorney (where I applied in 2018, the almost mother a child with a UGA lawyer, who my former best friend Tony Waller sits on the Board of Directors and was my friend for over seven years, where I applied to law school this year) decided to engage in an attack on me because of his inept law enforcement including Chief Gary Yandura, a victim of sexual assault who has never had the opportunity to even tell a Detective with the department what was done to her. You are not only putting me at risk, but other women.
Trying to make sure other woman do not go through what I have been through is not aggressive, so one has to hold you and law enforcement accountable, because what happens to the next woman who doesn't get out alive, who doesn't ow to go to a doctor, who kills herself because law enforcement won't do it's job and you don't care. what about the next woman he may have already raped, the ones he will- he admitted to me he raped me, but in my professional experience he has done this before, and rapists don't stop they escalate. So when you have a murder on your hands because your detectives won't follow up, how are you going to explain that?
“I love Brookhaven, its culture, its energy. No other city in the state is as vibrant and full of possibilities as Brookhaven. We’ve built an incredible community, a great quality of life, and our city has a bright future.” Does leaving a rapist on the street of Brookhaven indicate he has any concern for the "quality of life" or any woman who is a victim of sexual assault in the community-No.
"John received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Emory University."
I have a Bachler's degree in Psychology which I have had for over 20 years. I volunteered doing victim witness and rape advocacy just out of college including military wives. So we are equals.
"After college, he served as assistant to Georgia Governor Roy Barnes. John then continued his education and received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University Of Georgia School Of Law."
I spent over a decade working in mental health, law enforcement, juvenile probation including dealing with kids who victims of human trafficating, rape, IDing dead bodies of juveniles who had their heads cut off and their parents never showed up to identify their body, I was shot by a 13 year old doing a home visit, I have raised more children in the state of Georgia and Arizona than you have of your own. The tow truck driver who raped me has two children, two boys like you. I didn't stalk him he told me.
I raised my best friend's daughter at 19, attending college, working and being a productive member of society. I only didn't get into UGA because I was suing my employer for firing me because I filed a greviance.
I have been raped twice in my life, once by an Immigration Customs Enforcement Officer, and never filed a police report because we had dated in 2008. I dated a Chief Assistant Public Defender in Georgia, an Assistant District Attorney and two police officers, one with the Dalton PD and another who beat me twice with the Pooler Police- which Chief Ashley Brown has refused to acknowledge just has Mayor Rebecca Benton another UGA lawyer for almost two years all fully aware they could give you written documentation to support my story that was taken from me in June and July 2019 by Chatham County Sheriff's Deputies and Pooler PD officer Rebecca Fereguson when she had my car taken after the Pooler PD left me in my car for 2.5 months and left in the street because of a dead car battery. that I have tried to get back from them and they refuse to acknowledge me.

"During his tenure in law school, he served as a prosecutor in the Athens-Clarke County District Attorney’s office under the third-year practice act and was a summer clerk for the Honorable John J. Ellington, Georgia Court of Appeals."
I worked with former Chief Joseph Lumpkin when he was the Police Chief in Savannah. I sent him an email about how wonderful his department was in April 2016 which he put in the officers guardian file. I worked for Senior Judge John Beam, Judge Thomas Cole, Judge Patricia Stone, I worked for 23 more judges in Arizona. I worked with Isabel Pauley and wanted to be a prosecutor. You have destroyed that dream.
"After law school, he served as the Attorney of the Majority Caucus in the Georgia House of Representatives during the 2004 Legislative Session. Under John’s leadership, the Ethics Board convicted a public official of an ethics violation for the first time in more than 15 years."
I am the granddaughter of a Navy veteran, the daughter of a LCSW social worker, the niece of a teacher, a human being you destroyed. I am a white, Republican woman but that doesn't matter to you.
I could still be a better attorney and human being then he will ever have accomplished and he should in fact be the subject of an investigation in connection with Chief Yandura, Deputy Chief Brandon Gurley, Lt Snively, Lt Ayana, Detective Sarah Miller and two Brookhaven Patrol officers who forced me to give the sexual assault report outside a Marta Station, with drunks sitting near by, where EMS forced me to stop writing the only thing I was allowed to do, make a written statement, only to have them put me in the jump seat of an ambulance while having a panic attack, and I suffer from nightmares because the trauma is not being raped it is Brookhaven Pd and your response to help cover it up.
No call was returned by the Brookhaven PD until Feb 2021. 7 months after it was reported and only after two emails to the Chief of Police who blocked me on LinkedIn for trying to get him to make his department investigate it. Then I was told by Lt. Ayana I could not file an Internal Affairs complaint about Det. Sarah Miller refusing to interview me or the actions of the patrol officers who never even gave me a victim rights card, just a piece of paper with the case number, Lt Ayana only questions for me "Do you have a lawyer?" and what is the name of the person who raped you?" Then came a text message, phone call and email from Detective Miller, which I returned about her setting up a time for a video interview she never completed. When she would not respond to her own request to for an interview I emailed the Deputy Chief who told me they were making the case inactive, they don't interview victims of sexual assault and to have the press call him. That is not an investigation.
Then I emailed you who responded and said you had to have some one look into it before you could respond to my email. That was March 2021. I followed up on that email and got no response. Then came 3 days ago, because I dared to @ you in a LinkedIn post you attacked me in public online and said that the case had been investigated. When a victim tries to give law enforcement medical records, photos of the bruises, text messages of the rapist admitting he raped her, phone records and everything else and they refuse to respond or take that information that IS NOT an investigation. That is a coward leading a city who won't take responsibility for his police department, leaving pother women to be raped because his detective is lazy, and his department is corrupt.
You want credibility- in 2015 I applied to work for the FBI as a victim specialist after handling a human/sex trafficaking case as a probation officer, I supervised juvenile sex offenders, I have been trained on J-SOAP, I did sexual assault advocacy work for victims and coordinated with law enforcement just out of college, and have advocated for my juvenile probationers who were victims. I have stellar references, and character, I am a member of the Ga Gang Investigators Association, but they gave a tow truck driver better treatment and the chance to make a statement and not me. So John Ernst next time you attack a victim of sexual assault representing the City of Brookhaven as it's Mayor you might read the LinkedIn profile and not out the systemic corruption in Dekalb County of a college educated, civil servant who thought in July 2020 she was going to be safe because she believed police officers returned phone calls collected evidence and mayors with law degrees don't humiliate a woman who has been trying to get into you alma matter since before she was raped going to Brookhaven to get court documents to make sure that public servants didn't get fired and thought men in Georgia and law enforcement helped people. Brookhaven could be held liable for not investigating my sexual assault, a settlement would have paid for me to go to law school and make sure it didn't happen to other woman.
This Georgia in 2021. You are are the reason I will not ever go to the University of Georgia, I don't want to be anything like you or Mayor Rebecca Benton. Your citizens should be ashamed not only of you, your police department but of the fact you are a bully. No amount of education changes the fact you are a coward, a bully and are the reason that women will have nightmares, and be violently assaulted and I believe that law enforcement does not protect and serve. I am more afraid of the Brookhaven PD more than the man who raped me because YOUR department helped him get away with raping a juvenile probation officer.
Explain this police report- how is it if I knew nothing about the sexual assault they had the ability to name the perpetrator of that sexual assault- explain why even the Brookhaven IA will not investigate your police officers false statements- including I asked them only for a detective to respond - who never did except to ask me why if I always speak in military time, Why is the case still active and I have never been interviewed, the doctor who did the sexual assault kit never contacted- explain to me why I have photos of the injuries from the Rape- and why your Assistant Deputy Chief Brandon Gurley told me never to speak to the assigned investigators- or why your City Attorney has no concerns about their actions either despite being aware and no one in law enforcement understands probable cause - I do- and I was raped protecting these officers rights as public employees during a case which was in the Ga Supreme Court- not going to a court hearing. Those are a lot of explanations you need to me making-not just to me but to the people of Georgia.
