17 Year Old Charged With Murdering A 98 Year Old Woman

A 17-year old Wadsworth High school has been arrested and charged with the murder of 98 year old woman Margaret Douglas.

Margret Douglas who was 98 years old was reported missing by her relatives. She was missing for a few days. No one could find her or get in touch with her. So, naturally her relatives were worried about her and reported her missing . Authorities then decided to do a welfare check on her. They even asked in and around the neighbour hood and no one had seen her.

The authorities would then enter her Portage street home to continue their welfare check . This is when they would find a horrific scene. Till this point the authorities were only seeing this case as a missing person's case, but everything changes. They would find her body inside a closed. She was buries under a pile of clothes. This case quickly changes from missing person to murder investigation.

Who could have done this ? When the authorities were questioning the neighbours , everyone had only nice things to say. Everyone loved her , she was a person who kept to herself. No one had a grudge against her. So who could have done this horrific crime ? Who could have wanted to hurt Margret Douglas?

A 17 year old boy was the main suspect . i know you are all wondering how did this teen come into the police radar? He was someone who used to be in and out of the police station. He had a long history of crimes. His previous crimes include vandalism and criminal damaging. He was already in the police custody for a different crime.

He used grinder to lure in an older man to steal his stuff. He met up with this older man and tried to steal his car. Due to this reason he was already in police custody.

Before he was released the police decided to go through his phone. As there has been a number of cars being stolen in the area at time. So they wanted to see if there was any connection. He had no choice but to surrender his phone.

This is when the police crack the case. He made a very cryptic searches on his phone such as "Wadsworth murder case" and the police found this odd as the murder of Margaret Douglas was not released to the public. They even found a folderr and when the police opened the filed they found videos. He had recorded himself strangling and murdering Margret Douglas.

Things even gets worst as he even went further and degraded Margret Douglas dead body by doing necrophilia to it. The police was not ready for this. Immediately he was arrested.

Because of the nature of this crime , the court had decided to try him as adult and not as minor. This crime was so degraded and it shook the entire town , even his parents was not expecting this.

The police authorities evealed that teen lived in the same neighbourhood as Margret Douglas. He new she lived alone and he thought of her as an easy target.

He was found guilty Since he was tried as an adult , he was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. None of his family nor his friends knew he had negrophilic tendencies.

Later Ohio published new bill stated the abolishment of life imprisonment for minors even if they were charged as as adults. So it a possibility that he would get out in 25 years. This angered Margaret Douglas's family. So, if he do get he would only be 42 years.
