Q's That'll Never Get A's
People come and go. I get that. Really, I do. The people that come into your life don't necessarily have to give you the reasons as to why they'd want to leave... but I can't help but wonder. I'm sure most people can't help to wonder why a person would want to leave them.

I Felt Something Cold and Squishy Stuck to My Butt Cheek in Bed
I spend a lot of time in bed during the course of a normal day. For starters, I’m in it for 7–8 hours each evening while sleeping. Then, I sit on it for much of the day doing my writing with my laptop and my comfy little lap table. My daughter just got me that for Father’s Day and it’s a game changer. It has a little beanbag padding on the underside of it. Stellar Father’s Day gift for a writer.

SUPER TACO
Customer service is a strange thing. you go somewhere, see someone working there, they seem happy or at least, like a normal person, and they greet you. They assist you with problems, they try to make you comfortable and then when you leave, hopefully you think back fondly on the fact you had a pleasant experience and this employee helped make that happen. then at a later point in time you get your first job in customer service, and the truth is revealed to you.

Not a day goes by
Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Not a day goes by that I wish you would have listened to me and taken that bus instead. Not a day goes by that I wish I was with you at the time of the crash. Not a day goes by that I don't mourn you. I miss your scent that perforated my nose. I miss your kisses upon my forehead. I miss the silly faces you would make when I was down. I miss you, and i still love you, and I always will. Life can be cruel, but death can be worse. Not a day goes by that I can't help but think what could have been.

Loving You Loudly
emerson My life used to be amazing. It used to be everything I spent my whole childhood working towards. I was on a full ride, leading the lineup and starting at second base for Arizona State University as a freshman. I had an incredible boyfriend and an amazing family.

The Year That Recess Died
Recess. Arguably the best part about school growing up as a kid. Nothing felt better than throwing off the shackles of the classroom and bolting outside towards freedom, your friends in tow. Wind, snow, or humidity that made even your eye-balls sweat. It didn't matter what the heavens tossed our way. It was recess time, it was ours, and it was sacred.

You’ll never be able to wear a dress!
When I was a little girl I hurt my knees a lot. Isn’t that normal? For kids to play and get hurt? There was this older girl, a neighbor, she saw me with crusts on my knee skin and she told me to stop getting hurt so much, otherwise I won’t be able to wear a short skirt when I was older.
