They
To those who ask themselves why we never move forward...

I grew up with the golden rule, treat others how you want to be treated. I realize now that I am older, those whose houses were strong in hatred, have always had life the hardest. Hate was constantly fed, fueled, and strengthened. I look to others and see the issue.
They is the issue. They have spent their time planning. They know want They want and how to get it. They want groups at war. They want women to struggle with their place in the world. They want a man stuck in a position of providing. They want consenting adults fighting over the right to love another. They want the people fighting over which skin tone is the best. And fights They start over religion, are their classics. I look to others and see the issue.
They have the people so focused on problems within the communities, few bother to look at what They’ve done to the infrastructure of this country. I was raised on strength in numbers. Kind people outweigh the mean, but not the greedy. Bullies are outnumbered by the weak, who always have the numbers. Unionizing scares the bullies. I look to others and see the issue.
I have one rule in life, if one is not doing something in a way that harms another’s life, I have no issue with another. I will not judge one for being one’s self. To hate one based on race, their culture, gender, consenting matters, or their religion is a waste of my time, my anger. I hate those who get rich off the back of another. I hate those who have power, only because others had no power, no say. I chose to hate those who lie to the people because They didn’t think we could handle the truth about the world. I look to others and see the issue.
They told us for centuries where a woman belonged in life. They told us where a man’s position is in society. They told the people we were free. They told us Christianity was above all. They told us we could only love who They chose. They told the people what culture They wanted. I look to others and see the issue.
They lied and no one saw the truth. They didn’t tell you other countries are free. They didn’t tell you white is an evolutionary shade. They didn’t tell you women are people. They didn’t tell you men are people. They didn’t enforce the people to believe this country was founded on freedom of religion. They didn’t tell you that culture is only different ways of living life. I look at others and see the issue.
The greatest damage They have done to the people is creating a social hierarchy. They teach you to be scared of what others think of yourself. They personal hand select the ones They want to be our peers. They teach you that there is only one way to complete a task. As humans we have basic functions and focused functions. Eating is a basic function. Look at how you eat. Then look beyond yourself and see how another eats. It’s common knowledge humans need to eat to stay alive. So, if another is living it means the job was completed. One can maintain life in many ways, so long as the living keep breathing. Choice in clothing is a focused function. What another wears is no business if mine. If the people are happy, it’s a waste of my time to care. I look to others and see the issue.
I’ve climbed my way out of the wash. As I hang on the line to dry, I realize I’m not in full light. I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be such a thing. I just know what I see when others are in my sight. I see a world full of people struggling. I see a country full of people being smothered. Few people in this life are luckily enough to truly be healthy. It’s a shame the people’s healthcare is more toxic than one’s diseases. But its hard to fight when the other side is sick. People always working, but constantly broke because the money doesn’t cover a way of life. But its easy to fight when one side is under funded and worried about a roof. People over educated in war, and not educated on our infrastructure. But it’s easy to fight when the other side doesn’t know how. I look to others and see the issue.
I look to others and see that most people haven’t learned to undo the hate from which They bred inside us. The hate that was bred inside of me, the hate that lingers as I dry. The media can only show what They allow to be seen. Secret are withheld under lock and key. The already angry get upset at the lies They tell, and lead a charge. Groups battle another with vicious words and if They are lucky, weapons. Protesting is a constitutional right, but They allow the others to get scared and They restrict that right, and the people thank They. They keep the people scared of each other. I look to others and see the issue.
They have trapped the people in this life. They know what history tells. The revolt is near and after all their damage, They are scared. They’ve tightened their strings, thinking the people never break. There are those of the people who are ready for They to end. I want to see the people soar, but I fear I will never. I’m stuck. I’m in a world that makes me wonder if anything is real. The only light I have in my dark world is history, I know it’s always on repeat. A continuous time loop. I look to others and see the issue.
There’s only one thing that never remains constant under history’s continuous loop. And that’s people. The people are resilient. They are domino’s, once one falls, the rest join. Of course, They’ll come back like the insects They are, but it’ll be too late. Some of the people will have already learned, the learned people will pass their knowledge on, and generations will pass and enough of the people will stand together. I look to the others and see the issue.
I see many that are not like me. Ones who are blind to the lies They tell us. I look and I see the issues. They have successfully distracted us with petty and controlled the people with fear. I beg for a world where everyone is out of the wash and placed on the line to dry. I beg for a world where the greed is gone. I look to others and see the issue. We are not free as long as They are They.
