The Miracle

CHARACTERS -

ROHAN - 22 YEARS OLD, ORPHAN, RAISED BY HIS UNCLE, GRADUATE.

GREY - 45 YEARS OLD, ROHAN UNCLE, RULED A KINGDOM IN 1957, A KING.

GRACE - A WOMAN.

SHAMAN - GRACE'S HUSBAND

CATHERINE AND MARTIN: Rohan's PARENTS DIED IN AN ACCIDENT.

Rohan is searching for his certificates and things in the room to move out to his new house. While exploring his things, his eyes saw a wooden box with a design on it.

ROHAN INNER VOICE -

What is this box? I have never seen it until now. It might be my uncle's, but even if it were my uncle, I would've known this, right?

( With the thoughts spiraling, he shouts, " Uncle, where are you? I found a wooden box here. Is this yours? ")

Hearing Rohan shouting, Grey rushed and grabbed the box from Rohan. Grey cleans the box and starts checking the items in the wooden box, as if they were diamonds or precious things.

Rohan peeked in to see what was inside the box that made Grey react that way. But to Rohan's disappointment, he only found a hairpin, a rolled portage, and a letter.

Rohan - Uncle, what is it? Why are you so tense and worried about these things? I've never seen anything like this box before.

Grey was lost in his thoughts. A long pause, Grey answered, sobbing.

Grey - These are my wife's ornaments.

Rohan - wife? Whose wife ?. You never married, did you?

Grey was holding back his tears, but he failed. He started sobbing hard. Rohan was worried and asked Grey.

Rohan - " Uncle, what happened? Why are you crying?

After sobbing for a long time, Grey replied.

Grey - Her name is Grace. She is a gorgeous and kind lady I've ever seen. I loved her a lot. She used to be a cook in our palace. No one can cook food as delicious as hers. I never liked anyone cooking in our kingdom except her. She kept working for five years in our kingdom. We started liking each other. Our love blossomed. We loved each other more than anything. I made her stop working when she became pregnant. We secretly got married in a temple.

Rohan - Why did you marry her secretly?

Grey - Because we are from two different statuses. At that time, the world was so different from now. If I had married her officially, the kingdom would've killed her when I was away.

Rohan - If you're married. You have a wife. Then why are you single now? Where is your wife?

Grey: I still remember all this happening on March 23rd, 1957. I had visited another kingdom for the lake construction and kingdom development, and I wrote a letter to her saying that I would marry officially after returning. But she didn't receive that letter.

Rohan - Then who did?

Grey: Her mom received the letter, and her family learned about our secret marriage. When I was away from the kingdom, her family forced her to marry a shaman. They lied to her that I deceived her, and visited another kingdom for marriage, so that their daughter would be alive. She didn't know I wrote a letter to her; her mom hid it from her.

Rohan - so where is she now? You didn't meet her after coming back.

Grey - she was no longer alive when I came back after visiting. She died. No, she was killed. ( Grey was shouting in anger and pain.)

Rohan - what? She died? Who killed her?

Grey - The shaman, whom she was forced to marry. That shaman is a fraud. He was deceiving people for money. Grace got to know about that. She was a brave lady. That made me fall harder for her. She warned him not to continue doing that. If he does, she will complain to the king. Shaman got scared and killed Grace in her sleep and made it seem like an accident. I came back after one week of her death. I didn't get to see her face for one last time. My love died!

Rohan - What did you do after coming back?

Grey - (After a long pause) I killed that shaman and his whole family with my own hands. Yet my pain didn't reduce a bit.

LOVE LETTER

23rd March 1957

To my love,

This is from your husband, Grey, your majesty! I'm going to another kingdom for the lake's construction and the kingdom's development. I will be back by the end of this month. Let's get married officially, once I come back to the kingdom. Take good care of yourself and our child. Please be safe, my love. Don't lift heavy weights and have food on time. I will bring your favourite melons from the kingdom.

Grey - let it all aside for now. ( He went outside.)

After 2 days, right before leaving the house. Rohan glanced at the wooden box. He started going through the box and he found the start reading it. He started reading the letter. The letter came into life and made a bright light, which filled the room.

Rohan was nowhere to be seen. The letter fell on the ground. When Rohan opened his eyes, he was in bed, and his mom was trying to wake him.

CATHERINE - Rohan, my son. Wake up! Wake up!

Rohan woke up in his bed. He thought it was a dream and hugged his mom. While hugging his mom, he realized his hands were too small and he couldn’t hug her properly. He felt his mom was too big for him. He sensed that something was wrong. He looked around and saw that he was in the room where he had stayed in his childhood. He rushed to see himself in the mirror. Then Rohan saw his younger self in the reflection. Meanwhile, Grey came to see Rohan as he passed out. Seeing grey in royal clothes and his parents, Rohan shouted and kicked everyone out of his room.

After some time, Rohan realized that he had entered into his past, that letter, to his 10-year-old self. He found a hairpin in his pocket, which was covered in Grace's blood. Then he thinks it's his job to stop her death this time.

Now this story continues in 1957.

That evening, everyone in the family had dinner together, as they do regularly. But Rohan was too happy to have dinner with his family. After a long time, Rohan slept with his parents. He stuck to them, and everyone was confused by his change in behavior.

THE NEXT MORNING

Rohan woke up normally and saw the date on the calendar. It's the 23rd March, 1957.

ROHAN INNER VOICE -

23rd March,1957. Isn't this the same date mentioned in the letter Uncle wrote?

Rohan rushed his way to Grey. Grey was surprised to see Rohan in his room. When Rohan went to the Grey room, Grey was already writing his letter.

Grey - Rohan, what are you doing here? Why are you looking so tense?

Rohan - Uncle, don’t send that letter to Aunt Grace. Please don't go to another kingdom.

Grey - Aunt Grace? How do you know about her? No one knows about my relationship with her? How do you know about my visit to another kingdom? Why shouldn't I go? ( Grey asks, amused )

Rohan - If you visit another kingdom. Aunt's mom will receive this letter, she hides it from Aunt. Aunt's mom miscommunicates the reason for your visit to another kingdom as a marriage proposal, and says you deceived her. Aunt will be forced to marry the shaman. That shaman is a fraud, and he kills Aunt and your child in her womb.

Grey was too stunned to speak after hearing everything Rohan said. The deep silence takes place.

Grey - How do you know about all this, Rohan? Grace, Shaman, my child, and everything?

Rohan - uncle, trust me. You won't believe me even if I tell you everything. I know everything you wrote in the letter. You are saying that you will marry her officially after returning, and I knew that you both married secretly, and Grace's aunt is your wife.

Rohan shows Grey Grace's hairpin, which is covered in her blood, to Grey. After taking the hairpin in his hands and tightening his palms, thinking about everything, Rohan said, "shaman kills grace". Grey hurt himself with a hairpin, blood started flowing from his hand. The blood on the hairpin touches his blood, and grey foresees all the future and his memories from the future. Grey collapses after his memory recollection. Rohan catches his uncle before collapsing, and a few minutes later, Grey rushes in his car into the kingdom at high speed, where he meets Grace. Rohan tags along, grey.

Grace is already there and ready to send him a bird's message, but she stops after seeing the Grey car. When Grey sees Grace, he stops driving, drifts with the sudden break, gets out of it, and hugs Grace in his arms. Grey starts sobbing hard, hugging Grace. Meanwhile, Rohan finds his way to stop the car and gets off.

Grace - Your Majesty, what happened? Why are you sobbing so hard? Is everything okay? ( Grace is in shock. Because she is not aware of anything.)

Grey caresses Grace's face in his palms and kisses her forehead, saying," My love, I'm so sorry for leaving you behind. I promise I will never leave you. I can't bear to lose you again. I will take care of our child."

Grace - Your Majesty! Do you have a bad dream?

Grey - Yes, My Love. A nightmare. I was so alone without you. It was hell.

Grace - It's a nightmare. It won't happen. I will never leave you.

Rohan clears his throat by letting them know that he is also there. After hearing him, Grace and Grey came back from their world.

Rohan - Aunty, you're so gorgeous. You look like an angel. No, a fairy. ( He struggles to find a perfect word.)

After hearing Rohan, Grace chuckles and says, Where did you learn that stuff? Is it from your uncle?

Grace - By the way, why did you bring him here today? You always come alone.

Grey - He will be our first child. So I'm letting him meet his aunt outside the palace.

Grace starts playing with Rohan's cheeks, saying he is too cute to handle. Grey is not listening to her. He is so lost in his thoughts and hers that he doesn't care.

He can't believe this is happening. It feels like a dream that he never wants to end. Grey plucks flowers from the tree and goes down on his knees to Grace. Rohan is in awe.

Grace - Your Majesty! What are you doing?

Grey - MY LOVE! As a king, I was never allowed to bow or kneel to anyone. But you, my love. I want to serve you as a husband, not a king. Will you marry me? Will you be her majesty? "

Rohan was amused, clapping hard and saying his aunt's grace to say yes.

Grace - It's an honor to marry you, be your wife, and her majesty, MY LORD! (Grey sealed Grace's lips)

Grey and Rohan drop Grace at her home and return to their palace. After their return to the palace, Grey and Rohan hugged each other, not believing what was happening in their lives. But they both knew what was coming next, so they were cautious. As a king, Grey commands the army to kill the shaman and his family, because they are frauds and deceiving people. Grey made Grace sit right next to him. The Army took the shaman and his family into custody and killed the family right in front of millions of people watching. Rohan is watching everything silently.

Grey's Announcement

Anyone who tries to deceive or harm others. I will kill them with my sword. It's a king's order, and I hereby announce my marriage. I, King Grey, am getting married at the end of this month. Her Majesty is Mrs.Grace. If I hear or know about any rumors about her or my marriage, that will be your last day, remember. Mrs.Grace will be the queen of this kingdom.

Everyone in the kingdom, including Rohan's parents, was shocked by the news.

Grey is holding Grace's hand to signal that everything will be alright. Grey stands up and leads the way for Grace. Grace was scared and flustered at the same time. But Rohan, who is watching, can't stop his blushing and enjoyment. Catherine and Martin are shocked by their marriage proposal and Rohan's happiness. They never saw Rohan being this happy.

Rohan's inner voice -

Thank you, God, for letting them have a happy ending. My job is done. Now it's your turn. Give me a nice sister to play with.

GREY AND GRACE GET MARRIED AND LIVE A HAPPY LONG LIFE.

AFTER 12 YEARS.

Rohan is trying to find his certificates, but he can't. So he shouts, saying, " Has anyone seen my certificates? I can't find them."

Riya ( Rohan's little sister and Grey and Grace's daughter)

Brother, it's with me. I'm looking at your certificates. Brother, you are a topper student. Your grades are so good.

Rohan: You should also study hard and make your brother, parents, and my parents happy.

Riya - sure brother!

Grey, Grace, Catherine, and Martin are watching them converse.
