Friendship
Have you met Sharon?
Who is a best friend? A best friend is someone that loves you with all their heart and cares about you. Someone that would do anything for you and vice versa, no matter the circumstances; they’re always there. Someone who has your back no matter how bad the world gets.

Loyalty
I did favors I had no room to do for people. For all the bad checks that I have written to feed myself and others that I thought were for me. For all of the silent tears that I have cried because of how others were treating me, knowing damn well that if I did half of the stuff they did to me to them, they would be pissed the fuck off. At this stage in my life, I do not have time to keep giving other people passes because they are so used to me giving them out like candy. This pattern has shifted for the betterment of me and not anyone else. So if and when I do another favor for someone else, I will not waste any more of my time talking to you about your actions. I am just going to sit back and watch what you do, and then when it comes time for me to decide about your dumb-ass ways and actions, this will be no surprise to you because I have spoken on it before. So when you start to notice that I have fallen back from being in your company, take a minute and sit down by yourself and look at what you did and didn’t do to make me choose the way I move with you from here on out.

Wait, That's What I Am? I'm a People Pleaser?
I always felt different from everyone around me growing up. Throughout my years in middle and high school, I was aware of how differently people acted towards others in any given situation in comparison to the way I would handle it. One of the earliest memories that come to mind when I think of this is that one time a friend of mine (let's call her Holly) got into a fight with another friend in our friend group. When they decided to end the conversation and give each other space, I watched in awe at the way Holly was quite calm and able to let things be in the meantime. I remember going home that day, wondering why I felt so strange and bad about myself. What did I have to do with what happened?

Snowflakes can dance too.
It was the middle of a frosty winter. The whole town moaned under the heaviness of the snowstorms, all its citizens seeking their cozy homes away from the cold wind. Fog emerged from here and there messing with everyone’s eyes as if they went blind. You couldn’t be able to see your own hands even if you tried stretching them above your head.

Sour Apples
I loved you like a brother once, but now I don’t know how to feel. I look back, at the good times and the bad. The arguments and fights. The laughs and jokes. Part of me hates you, wants to make you suffer, to hurt, to know the anguish you caused me. Part of me wants to reconcile and fix this whole mess. But I have to meet in the middle, we aren’t friends, but I’d like to think we aren’t enemies either.

Gratitude expects nothing in return, yet it is a responsibility that we all share.
Giving without expecting anything in return is similar to expressing gratitude without expecting anything in return. Finally, expressing gratitude is a type of giving, and whether you realise it or not, there's a part of you that's hoping for reciprocity when you do either.

Losing Vocal Friends and Finding Vocal Friendship
I don’t know what it was, but it came to mind how my Vocal friends seem to be in an almost constant state of flux. Many people I used to engage with seem to have disappeared from my circle, although new ones are constantly coming into it.

The City of the Blessed
As the cursed waggon pulled them through woodland waste, the trip was lengthy and rocky. Maleah sat in the eerie stillness, watching the sky change hues. The waggon lurched to a halt as dusk fell. She heard a bell ring somewhere in the near distant.
