If You Settle Other Than this, You Are In Disservice To Your Soul
People who only chase pleasure in their intimate life oftentimes seem like the ones who experience a deep sense of freedom, yet they are the ones who are imprisoned the most. At some points, they lost their adventurous spirit as their soul grows tired and weak. They start to decay from the inside, deprived of the greatest gift of life: true and deep intimacy, the intimacy that touches the soul. Their nervous system confuses the rush of adrenaline and excitement that comes from jumping from one relationship to the other with love, while in truth, it is trauma. By chasing the pleasure they do nothing but further perpetuate their trauma. Understanding this insight will change their entire life.

My dad told me about being overseas during the war, and how they served cats in places. Apparently, they serve dogs in places too, but nobody wants to eat a dog unless it's Oscar Mayer.

We All Deserve Better
Why I did it I don't know. I graduated number one in accounting in the state of Colorado, and then went on to earn my Masters degree in psychology, earning all A's. That wasn't good enough, apparently. I still had no self-confidence, and no self-worth. So, I let a younger man sweet talk me into moving in with him. I guess I was desperate for someone to love me, because in spite of all the red flags that week I went to visit him, I still let myself believe his constant stream of lies.

Cultural Relativism and Moral Action
Love is a broad concept and topic that involves our daily lives. When I was younger, I would often times see it in the Disney movies and classic fairy tales. Then I read ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by William Shakespeare and learned that the concept of love can be complicated. Currently, I have been dating my boyfriend for three years now and we both get a long quite well even though we share cultural differences. My boyfriend is half Egyptian, and I am half Japanese. The dilemma involved our families’ cultural background values. My mother is Japanese, and academics is very important in our culture, which meant that dating was frowned upon until further academic achievements were made. In Seal’s article about Asian-American parenting and academic success, she states that more Asian-American children often time spend “less time” in “dating” (pp.10). My parents were strictly against dating, especially during an important academic time in my life.

The Secrets of Sex
Sex should be something intimate and fun between partners, not a chore or something to trade with. While it has been awhile since I've been that intimate with someone in person, I can tell you whats good and whats not. Primarily because the guys I've slept with were....subpar. Don't question the logic, just accept it.
