Childhood
"The Courageous Dreamer"
In the picturesque village of Dreamhaven, there lived a young boy named Alex. Unlike the other children, Alex had a sparkle in his eyes that hinted at a world of dreams and possibilities. He was known as the village dreamer, often caught gazing at the stars or sketching fantastical worlds in his notebook.

Four Things I Would Tell My Younger Self
We often talk about what we would tell our younger selves. Maybe we would warn them of something that is going to happen that is out of their control. Perhaps we would tell them what to look forward to or something they shouldn't do.

LOOKIT THEE AT ON ER
LOOK AT THEE AT ON ER Out of the Mouth of Babes ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ It didn’t take my mom too long to lose most of her British accent. She arrived here in the US with her family when she was just five years old. For most of the next four years, during her grammar school years, her peers were always asking her to say “something, anything” so they could listen to her speak.

Shattered Faith, Restored Spirituality
Oh no, here we go. Another story about religion that has the potential to cause chaos and create havoc. Another story to bash those who are religious and to ruin the relationship I have with my family if they were to stumble across this piece.

A Web of Deceit
Once upon a time in a quaint little town, there existed a group of friends who had known each other since childhood. Their bond was unbreakable, and they shared every secret, dream, and hardship. Among them was Ami, the seemingly innocent and gentle soul who harbored a dark secret. She had been deceiving her friends for years.

The life lesson I learned from a homeless kitty. Content Warning.
I had a long day at work, and all I wanted was to get back to my apartment and relax. As I was walking down the street, I saw a small, furry shape lying on the sidewalk. It was a stray cat, but it looked like a ragged ball of dirt and fur. It's eyes were crusted with dirt and tears, and it couldn't open them. It was barely breathing, and I felt pity for the poor creature.

My Awkward High School Moment
Hey, I'm Shubmana, and I've got this story that's still a bit cringy to talk about, but I guess it's time to share. It all went down in my high school cafeteria, the place where the daily drama unfolded. I was just a regular teenage girl trying to fit in with the cool kids, or at least not be seen as the biggest dork. Well, one day, that plan went awry in a major way.

The Books on a Shelf
My parents were not into home decorating. One time they went out to buy a piece of art to cover a bare bit of wall over a sofa. They went to the store and fought in front of the framed pictures for three hours. They came home with a water lily painting by Monet because that was the only thing they could agree on. This story kills me because I can't think of anything less style-neutral than a water lily painting by Monet. In any case, we owned four humongous bookcases which covered most of the rest of the available wall space.
