My Last Story on Vocal Media

A new article came out about new changes coming to vocal. A lot of them were great rules and warranted rules. AI is taking over the art world and we need to get back to the simplicity of writing for ourselves again. Paying those who earn it is a must and a priority. However, I will not be able to pay the way to earn. I am a free user and will not be continuing on this site if I won't be getting paid because I can't pay. I wasn't just here for the payout, but man was it nice. I liked seeing that I was getting paid for my writing. Like I was actually an author. Big LOL on my part. I just can't afford to pay, so out the door I go.

It was honestly a nice run. I really enjoyed putting my stuff out online for people to read. Gave me a lot of joy to write no matter what it was and to put my opinion out there in case someone had the same one and we could discuss. I will still be writing, but just in a different spot or two. Everything is changing and evolving. I consider myself an adaptable person, mainly because I have children and they keep me on my toes, but with large changes that effect me so much I will always take a step back and look for something else. Maybe blogging is the way to go for me and always was, I was just living in purgatory.

No more can I wait for people to find my articles organically, no more can I post them on my other pages to find my writing. I am a simple creature who just wants to write and have my writing seen. The money was a perk and it was nice. I haven't earned as much as I used too in the past, but the payouts were nice. So then you may ask why are you leaving? Because I just don't see a future here. I am getting more serious about my writing, more than I have before, and I don't see how writing here can make the impact I want it to. So I am choosing this path to leave and do my own platform and actually start writing my book. Hopefully I will get money from these future ventures, but only time will tell!

I'll stay on Vocal a little longer to transfer all my writings, but within the week my profile will be gone and I will cease to exist on this app! I hope everyone who stays is blessed with many reads and the reaps they are looking for! Thanks for the challenges when I could afford plus! Thanks for waiting for me to post an article that has been sitting for months or even years! Thanks for improving for those who choose to stay so they can actually share what they want!
