I Got Scammed Out of $20,000 By a Psychic
Don't be the next victim.
Her name was Gin and I thought she was my friend. I know that sounds weird, but it's true.
When I first walked into her office, I was a bit lost in my life and I was in need of some guidance. I was greeted by her daughter who came up pretty close to me and started asking me questions. Shortly after, her mother came out and asked me a few questions, as well.
They started reading me right there even before I told them what I was there for. They were spot on. They asked me whether the person I was in love with name started with an M or an S. This was true because it started with an S.
She also referenced my past loves and was completely accurate and I started to relax at this point. Ging took me into her office where she performed a tarot reading. She told me more about my past loves and my family.
HOOK, LINE, AND SINK HER
Gin asked about my family and I told her that I had no relationship to my father. At this point she told me the reason for my unhappiness was due to my father's side of the family. She said that they had put a "curse" on me. Since she was so accurate about all the other things she had stated, I instantly believed her. She also told me that the guy I had a crush on, at the moment, was my soulmate.
This is where it all went wrong.
She told me that she doesn't perform voodoo or witchcraft and that she will use white magic to rid me of all of the demons and bad spirits. She also said she would be working to bring me and said crush together. When I asked her how much this would cost, she told me that I can pay her whatever I have. This should have been a red flag, but I didn't catch it.
My first payment to her was $4,000. I walked out of her office feeling hopeful about the future.
Except, everytime I came back to her office it was something else. She needed a thousand her and a thousand there to complete a certain task. I was still hopeful and just kept forking over my money. This should have been another red flag, but sadly, it wasn't.
THE BIG EXPENSE
After months, I started growing frustrated because I didn't feel like anything good was happening. I expressed this to Ging and she said that the spirits were powerful and that she was working as hard as possible, but would need a lot more money to completely get rid of everything and bring my crush to me. This should have been the third red flag, but it wasn't.
I forked over a whopping $8,000 which put me now at $20,000. It did hurt to fork this money over to her, but I was so desperate and I wanted such good things for my life. Above all else, I wanted good energy. She had scared me into giving her all this money and through these months, I thought we had grown closer. I thought this was someone I could depend on. I was sadly mistaken. It was months later and nothing. At this point, I had realized.
She not only scammed me out of so much money, but she used fear and trust to get it. She ruined me. It was my fault for not realizing the red flags, but I was in such a bad headspace that I couldn't realize the signs even if I wanted to. I came to her at such a vulnerable place in my life, and she used that to her advantage.
It's been years and I am in a great place in my life, but I will never forget that devil of a woman. I do take everything as a lesson and that was the biggest lesson of all. Be careful who you trust because they could be a wolf in sheep's clothing. I also learned to be grateful where I am in life because someone, somewhere has it worse.
