Trump and the Right-Wing fascist Party of the United States [1]:

Every single one of you is standing on the wrong side of history. If you think for a moment that your accomplishments will last generations to come, I promise you, they will not. Fascist governments come and go. The first lasted 23 years: The Axis in Italy from 1922 to 1945. The second lasted for years: Kuomintang in China, 1925 to 1949. The third lasted 19 years, Statism in Japan from 1926 to 1945. The fourth lasted 12 years, Nazism in Germany from 1933 to 1945. Austria, 12 years (1933 to 1945). Brazil, 6 years (1932 to 1938). Greece, 5 years (1936 to 1941). France, 4 years (1940 to 1944). Croatia, 4 years (1941 to 1945) [2] [3].

Everything you think you have accomplished will be torn down by the very people you believe are supporting you.

The only reason you have accomplished anything at all, Mr. Trump, is because fascists before you dug their claws deep into the tree of the American people and it has now infected the roots. Fascism is inherently anti-feminine, that is why the only times you won the election were against women. If not for anti-feminist fascism, you would not be standing where you currently are.

In 100 years, they will treat you the same as we treat the Confederate war veterans and slavers. Your statues will be torn down and defiled; your names will be scrubbed from everything pure they once blemished. I am deeply saddened that none of you will be alive to see all that you have done reduced to rubble so small, that even Trump’s tiny hands will seem large in comparison.

The world will survive you, and so will her people.

We, the citizens of the world, do not stand for fascism.

We will not make an exception for you.

A letter to anyone who still questions if the Right-Wing Party in America is Fascist:

Fascism can be difficult to define, so rather than searching through as many definitions as possible until you find one that either confirms or denies your personal feelings, I implore you to keep an open mind and use history as a guide. The University of California, Berkeley published an article connecting today's American Right-Wing Party with past historical examples of fascism clearly and concisely [1]. If you have the time, I would recommend reading it over. Much of what I have seen from the far right echoes past fascist governments: the obsession over birth rates [5] and hatred of immigrants (which was one of the key economic "battles" waged in fascist Italy, the battle for births) [4], the pro-violence anti-democratic insurrection Trump encouraged on January 6th, the nationalism and value of the country over the individuals, focus on money and financial gains, and use of scapegoats to further support of themselves. It seems that fascism often rises after turmoil, economic hardship, and pandemics [1]. People are afraid and look to a strong, authoritarian leader which often is found in fascist dictator types. But fascist leaders do not care about you or me. They care about maintaining power and authority, they care about money.

We must be stronger than our fears and stand comfortably in the realm of the unknown, lest we repeat past historical mistakes and become as Germany was during the Nazi regime.

We must value ourselves above the country we live in. Nationalism will be the death of a country. It is the people that make the country, not the other way around. If we value the country above its people, all we will be left with is a name with nothing of value to put to it.

You are a national treasure, you have so much value. Take care of yourselves and each other, and thank you for reading.

I keep reminding myself that today is MLK Day, not the beginning of another four years of this nonsense. Hope needs to be hoped for.

  • I truly hope they don't last two minutes, but the electorate who voted them in are small-minded racist idiots who voted this party in because it validates their hate, ignorance and stupidity
