you make everything feel so easy

you make everything feel so easy

By Karlin Published about a year ago 1 min read

Loving again after being hurt so deeply was something I promised myself I’d never do. But here I am, falling harder for you every day.

You make everything feel so easy.

I’ve never been good at sharing my feelings. I’d rather keep things to myself than talk about what’s bothering me. But since meeting you, I want to try. You make it easy to open up, because you actually listen.

You’ve made me love things I used to dislike.

If I had to rank all the love languages, physical touch would have been last on my list. It’s not something I usually long for. But with you, I find myself craving your touch in the most innocent way— holding hands, the way you run your fingers through my hair, how you lean on my shoulder. I want that closeness.

You make it all feel effortless.

I used to think love was something I had to protect myself from. I built walls so high, I thought no one could break through. But you didn’t force your way in; you just stayed. Patient, steady, waiting until I felt safe enough to let you in. And once I did, everything changed.

You’ve made me realize that love doesn’t have to be complicated or painful.

You’ve shown me that love can be kind and patient. That it doesn’t demand, but gently invites. You’ve shown me that vulnerability isn’t weakness, but a way to connect deeply with someone who truly cares.

I never thought I could feel this way again, yet here I am, falling more in love with you every day. Not because I have to, not because it’s expected, but because it feels right. Because with you, love isn’t something I’m afraid of anymore — it’s something I’ve come to cherish.

Loving you isn’t hard. Loving you feels natural, like breathing. It’s not something I have to do, it’s something I want to do .

I love loving you.
