A lonely musician played his flute in a barren field. The next morning, saplings appeared.
With each song, new trees grew—each shaped by the melody’s emotion.
When he played grief, willows rose.
When he played hope, bright silver birches sprouted.
When he played love, a single massive oak emerged.
He spent his life composing a forest where every feeling had a place to grow.

Once the ship hit the deep sea, Captain Taylor felt better. It’s not that he hated the towns, necessarily, it was more that it always felt like a compromise of some sort, and he hated compromise.
