An Artistc Drabble Inspired By The Enchanted Booklet

'Enchanted girl', painting by Jan Rembowski (1879–1923) from The Enchanted Booklet
She sits on a throne in a twilight dream world between two monstrous warlords. No words are spoken, but she may not leave.
They sit in a thorn forest of evil and dark things,
Faces are half seen in the shadows, and in the distance, a curlew calls.
They have no names, but they are bound together until they are undone.
The sorcerer's spell has bound them here as revenge for some ill that he said they had done.
What their crime was, no=one knows. They must sit in dark silence and hope that one day they will be free.

What an interesting drabble, Mike. I'm assuming there will be more?
she was the one that was punished, though....this resonated with me because being in the middle of two people at odds with one another (mediator) is the WORST....sometimes there is just No peace :(
Don't they know they need to find the bell & start ringing!
Oooo, I wonder what was their crime. Loved your drabble!
This is a great, beautiful Drabble and perfectly paired with the music, which I liked as well. Nice painting. I should try some art-inspired writing. I used to do that for a newspaper long time ago. I loved it.
