The Communique, Chapter Two
4-H-N’s devoted duo had been assigned to an unfrequented eddy of limpid space, where lumpy clusters of frozen gas-bubbles clumped together to dot the region with tiny translucent asteroids. Atop one of these waited Flashbee, standing up on account of his stinger, which was uncomfortable but he had to keep it primed for immediate use.

It will take some time before quantum computing becomes useful.
The intention is to address issues needing vast computing power with quantum devices instead of classical computers. Nonetheless, the era of noisy, intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices continues to this day. The long-term issue with fault tolerance, scalability, and commercialization is "noise." I, Willhelm
The robot was allowed to move around again. Alice ignored it as she she tried to draw out a plan of how she wanted to make their garden. They had moved into the house two weeks after the baby, and she had been dreaming of this for years. The day she would be able to sit down, look around at a house that was hers and start to paint and dream however she wanted. She’d been starting at the paper for several minutes, but her hands couldn’t put anything down, her mind too distracted by the constant soundtrack of a baby crying, every other list she needed to complete flashing through like a million tv’s on wheels, the noise relentless and never ending.

A Techno Carol (with Apologies to Charles Dickens) - A Story in Five Parts
Part III: Jimmy woke up with shakes and sweat. He looked over at the window pooling the moonlight (not as strong as before). And then he looked over at his desk. All the things that should be there were back. There were no boomboxes, Walkmans or old computer systems. Everything was perfect.
