The Waiting (Is The Hardest Part)
Introduction This is for this challenge which you are welcome to enter here I am not sure which community this will drop into. We have Micro Fiction in Vocal but no Micro Truth and this is going to contain a lot of non-fiction items so it won't be in Fiction.

A Different League. Top Story - January 2024.
I am a Newcastle United fan, through and through. I’ve never supported any other team, but there was a period in my life when I didn’t support any team, to be honest. I think as a kid the older I got I just lost interest when I realised I wasn’t actually very good at football (or any team sports, to be honest), and this just led to me to move away from watching it as well. I didn’t get back into it until about 2011/12ish, so you can’t accuse me of being a fan who suddenly regained interest post-takeover (mind I do remember some of those Pardew days quite fondly). No, I just started going to games again and it made me realise what football is really all about, especially in this city of Newcastle, which I also identify with very strongly despite not being your stereotypical Geordie. On the day my grandad offered me a spare ticket to my first game for years, it took about 5 seconds to remember everything beautiful about this game.

SPIRITS INSIDE
A few days ago, I visited the Facebook page of some obscure magician or sorcerer. Sparse likes, hearts, and laughs were sprinkled amongst his fifty-nine posts, twelve of which had zero likes or reactions. Forty-six of the posts had obscene, grotesque, and insulting comments...

Unbreakable Bonds
Chapter 1 Unexpected I wake up to Jade’s music. Since it’s Saturday morning, I scroll through my TikTok while looking at what assignments need attention. Now that I’m in college, there are moments in which I am horrible at prioritizing what needs to be done. In high school, I would finish an essay a week before its due date, and I loved putting my thoughts on paper. Now, when I get assigned an essay, I procrastinate. It’s amazing how I’ve been able to pass my classes. Jade knocks on my door.

FADED SHADOW EPISODE 1
May paced up and down the stairs as she was looking for her keys. She got a report from a hospital close to her husband's work place that he was admitted there. So she quickly rushes to find out where she had earlier dropped her keys. She stood on the first floor looking around trying to trace her steps where has she been today. She could clearly remember that she only went out to the supermarket to get some supplies for food and she came in and dropped her purse in the first parlor and immediately rushing to the kitchen "living room" she shouted as she ran towards the living room almost slipping down due to the slippery tiles. She picked up the keys and rushed out yelling at the gate man to open up the gate but suddenly stopped to look at her. "why are you looking at me, I said open the gate". She yelled as she realized she wore a blue singlet and a bum short. "oh God...…." She yells rushing into the house to put on a large gown that was three times her size, it was not even hers but but one of her customers who asked her to sew the dress for her.
