The Forgotten Daughter
From the moment I opened my eyes in this world, I knew I was different. The other wolves in the pack towered over me, their sleek coats gleaming in the sunlight, while I, a mere shadow in their midst, struggled to make my presence known. My name is Seraphina, but here, in the Silvermist Pack, I am little more than a servant, overlooked and underestimated by all who pass me by. My days are filled with menial tasks and endless toil, my body weary from the burden of carrying out the orders of those who see me as nothing more than a pawn in their games.

Abbreviations for Medical Professions
Introduction This is going to be a textbook of flashcards that can be used by students that are studying in one or more of the following professions. These professions are nursing assistant students, nursing students, medical assistant and even medical secretarial students. Other students who will find these chapters useful could be various kinds of therapists as well as medical laboratory students and a few other fields. To make the flashcards all you have to do is get some 3 x 5 cards and then write the term on one side and the meaning on the other side. As I am writing these you could group the cards in groups of ten (10) for easier studying. Just a note: These chapters will be short say about 600 or so words since they are basically in a question-and-answer format.

A Different League
As I write this, both North East teams are in the footballing headlines here in the UK. Newcastle because they’ve just placed their Director of Football, Dan Ashworth, on gardening leave following his controversial announcement that he was interested in a move to Manchester United, and Sunderland because they have sacked their manager Michael Beale (below), after only 12 games in charge. Quite remarkably, his sacking means they have had 17 managers in 16 years. I read reports of both these stories in the morning paper, alongside an article by the brilliant sports journalist Daniel Storey which remarked, on the Ashworth story, that the excessive interest in a role such as his indicated how much football has changed in the last twenty years. The roles of directors, backroom staff etc are as important as the coaches and the players. Football is a multi-million pound business, and that, I suppose, was inevitable, but it has, or has certainly set out to, put a significant distance between true fans and their clubs.
