Early in the Saturday AM hours, the Peacock proudly perched, atop the balcony railing overlooking the scenic British street. Vigilantly monitored a developing perspiration undershirt invasion the guarded knight followed protocol designed by the colonists. Binoculars in hand, the streaming entrepreneur, identified an army filled with mechanical muscle wanting work.

“It looks like we have a convoy here,” the colorful fowl expressed, abandoning ship, quickly heading inside the flat rented by American mover and shaker, Kia Ford.

“You may want to get some goals today,” the Peacock expressed using a commanding tone, “it looks like you are ready to get a Deere John letter.”

Enthusiastically his star spangled go getter companion opened the golden goal opportunity envelope hinting the Peacock ‘check the bubble machine, confirm there’s enough in the tank’.

“You must be John writer of the Deere John emails; I get once in a while.”

“No, my name is Ipswich, I have a town named after me and I am a direct competitor to the Deere John letters you receive,”

“So, you are a tractor boy, I see,” Kia Ford confirmed checking the landscape.

“That is right, we are tractor boys,” Ipswich stepped aside revealing his garden party crew, “we are no longer relegated, looking for goals, can you help?”

“What type?”

“Lawns, bushes, keeping things beautiful, like your stunning eyes,”

“That is,” Kia Ford paused hearing a text ping, catching the Peacock working cell phone duties, “oh wow it is Antonio, reminding me, I have a goal.”

Retreating a small bit, Ipswich still confidently looked down the line seeing the individuals seeking employment application.

“How are you if we get a delap goal?” Ipswich treaded the meet and greet boundaries.

“As I was saying that is a respectable goal,” Kia Ford treated the newcomer to the elite side like an equal, “be my guest.”

Accepting the escort routine, the visitor found a seat on the couch, “do you have anymore goals besides Antonio?” Ipswich started curiously investigating.

“Not at this moment but Kudos to that since I think I might have gotten a score,” Kia Ford halted her comment, right before the pair decided, breaktime, “my agreeing attitude is a contributing goal, I am proud of,”

“And where was Antonio when all this agreeing happened?”

“Missing the action down at the cross bar,” Kia Ford honestly answered.

Feeling the heat, Ipswich decided to head outside, meet with his backers and when he returned Kia Ford stood motionlessly in front of the Julie Bowen shrine,

“You sure you still want a Premiere League Table seat?” Kia Ford greeted, “you know what? I have another goal.”

Nervously twitching, Ipswich wanted to go back to his town, “is there something you want? Maybe help cleaning? Your garden tools? Perhaps? Packing you up, would be another goal for me, of course,” Kia Ford hauntingly offered observing the scared soul depart the scene, headed straight for reality.

Watching them disappear the Peacock scrolled through his emails, “four goals,” he mentioned, “that will assist with the goal difference advantage if there is a situation deciding ties.”

“And the three points will get me a better standings position for those trucker boys to discuss during their lunch fantasies,” Kia Ford noted.

“Hungry for dinner?” The Peacock checked his watch.

“Actually, it is tea time, maybe a little after,” Kia Ford responded, “I think I am starting to enjoy myself here in Great Britain. What is next week’s agenda?”

“There is an International break,” the Peacock informed.

“And then?”

“Spurs,”

“Well then,” the united West Ham grinned, “I will have to dig in my Cowboy heels and tell Lilly White, ‘giddy up’.”
