Introduction

I found this beautiful image on Debbie's Magical Brew below. I thought Goeiemorgend was the artist and "Luister naar de kraaien" was the name of the painting, but Goeiemorgend means "Good Morning" and "Luister naar de kraaien" means Listen To The Crows.

Each day, a beautiful lady walks through a misty wood. Spider webs hang from the trees. She knows this is a place of special magic.

Here she consorted with the fae and talked with the crows. They told her secrets that they had seen, and she threw them seeds.

They were her friends, and often perched on her arm as she wandered the paths of the misty wood.

Was she a witch, a nymph or a dryad? No one knew, but she may have been all three.

She knew there was magic here, and often she would move her hand and starry light would appear, much to the delight of those who saw.

Today was the day she spoke with the birds, and the birds here today were the crows ...
