Ease into Sexuality and Female Empowerment💜

"A book in writing."

By Cryptic EdwardsPublished a day ago ‱ 2 min read

Hi my darling Vocal readers and Writers, here we are.

We step into something new my end I have not brought up, something deeper shall we say.

This one burns a little more, speaks a little louder, and might shake a few walls here and there.

This is not just part of another Cryptic piece here that I have already started, the journey will be long but I am full of so much fire with this one as part of my ease into series.

This is about truth.

About womanhood, about standing in our power even when the world tells us not to.

Have you ever felt judge for just being a woman?‹

You eat too much and apparently society saids you’re fat. How dare they!

You eat too little society saids you’re starving yourself. How dare they!

You wear too much make up and guess what society saids you’re fake. how dare they!

Or you do not wear any make up and guess what society saids you’re lazy. How dare they!

You love freely. 😡you’re shamed.

You hold back. 😡 you’re cold.

It’s always something, isn’t it Ladies!

Well, I say enough.

Enough with the rules, the labels, the quiet suffering.

We are not here to fit into boxes built by fear.

Im not writting this piece to please anyone.

Im writing to open up what’s been closed for far too long, the truth of what it means to be a woman in a world that keeps trying to rewrite us.

Some people will love this.

Some wont.

That’s fine.

Truth doesn’t need to be liked right! truth just needs to be heard.

This is an abstract of writing from a book I am in the process of writing, this book will be my fire and my essence.

It’s for every woman who’s ever felt silence, unseen, or shamed.

This is a book to remember that you are power.

You are a life force.

You are the change.

Most importantly yes this will be the one for the woman who refuse to dim their light, for those who rise, again and again, even when the world says they shouldn’t.

Authors note- This piece explores themes of female empowerment and sexuality. This is written from personal reflection as well as a creative perspective, with the intention of sparking thought and conversation- never judgment. Thank you for reading. 💜

♄I am truly enthralled by this piece. You have captured a macabre truth about the expectations placed upon us as women. ♄I especially found myself lingering on your use of isocolon: 'You love freely. You are shamed. You hold back. You are cold.'. This balance is so striking because it mirrors the impossible cycle we are forced into. It is truth written with such equanimity, and I felt that same balance echoed in your choice of emojis.
