Act 1 Scene A

INT. Wendy and Giuviny's home

Wendy and Giuviny are getting ready to take their daughter Kylie to her swimming classes.

Wendy: Kylie, go take a shower

Kylie: Five minutes

Wendy: Fine, but just five, you know your dad doesn't like to wait.

Wendy heads to the kitchen and prepares breakfast.

Wendy: Giuviny, honey, come eat!

Giuviny: Thanks, babe. It looks delicious

Kylie enters the kitchen, looking gloomy. She sits in her chair and eats her scrambled eggs

Giuviny: What's with you, sweetheart? Is everything okay?

Wendy: Seems your daughter didn't get enough sleep, all because you bought her a tablet.

Suddenly, Kylie begins to sob.

Kylie: No, mom. I just don't feel like going swimming today, I'll do chores if you want me to.

Wendy and Giuviny look at each other.

Wendy and Giuviny speak simultaneously: What's going on?

Kylie wipes her tears.

Kylie: There's this girl who bothers me, and I can't hit her back. She's been bothering me for a couple of weeks since I joined the swimming classes. (she continues to cry)

Wendy: Honey, why didn't you say anything? (Wendy hugs Kylie and then caresses her soft face)

Kylie: I don't wanna be known as a snitch.

Giuviny: What did I tell you before? If there is trouble come to us, you're our priority.

Wendy: Sweetheart, let's finish eating and I will take care of this.

Giuviny: I'll start the car.

Wendy: Alright, we're gonna finish eating.

Five minutes later, Wendy and Kylie get in the car. Giuviny plays Kylie's favorite songs and she smiles. She gives Giuviny and Wendy a kiss on the cheek.

Act 1 Scene B

INT. Swimming Facility

Wendy: Okay, Kylie, when we go in I want you to show me who is this girl bullying you.

Kylie: Okay, mom

Wendy and Kylie kiss Giuviny goodbye, and he drives off to the store to buy groceries in the meantime.

Kylie: Mom, that's her, wearing the pink shorts.

Wendy is in disbelief, she looks at a girl who is about 300 pounds.

Wendy: That girl is the one bullying you? (Wendy is pissed off)

Kylie: Her name is Regina. She pushes me around and calls me names.

Wendy: Okay, honey, listen. I want you to sit on the bench for a few minutes.

Wendy heads towards Regina. Regina turns around.

Regina: Hello (Regina smiles)

Wendy: Look, ugly whale. Let it be the last time you make my daughter cry. How old are you?

Regina is standing awkwardly.

Regina: Twelve.

Wendy: Wow, twelve (Wendy shakes her head). And why is a twelve-year-old picking on my eight-year-old daughter?

Regina stays quiet and her eyes begin to get watery.

Wendy: And why the hell are you crying now? You think I give a flying damn if you go tell your mom? How are you gonna attack others if they report that you are attacking them yet you're gonna cry to your mom? Where is your mom anyway? I wanna talk with her, and stop all that crying.

Regina: She just dropped me off, she went home.

Kylie leaves the bench and walks towards Wendy

Kylie: Mom, everything okay?

Wendy looks at Regina

Wendy: I want you to apologize to my daughter.

Regina: I'm sorry.

Wendy: Nah, sweetheart, I want complete sentences, sorry for what?

Regina: I'm sorry Kylie, for being mean and picking on you.

Kylie: It's okay.

Wendy: Let me ask you this Regina, were you pretending to be like that Regina character from the Mean Girls movie? Did you say to yourself since your name is Regina, you should act like a mean girl?

Regina: I never seen that movie

Wendy: Alright then. Let's get one thing straight, I'm not forcing you to be friends with my daughter. All I want is for you to be respectful. Can you do that?

Regina: Yes, ma'am.

Wendy and Kylie walk away and go to the pool to practice swimming.

Kylie: Mom, you're the best, I wish I had a phone to record how she was crying.

Wendy: If she bothers you again, let me know.

After two and a half hours, Giuviny comes to pick up Wendy and Kylie.

Giuviny: Hey guys, so how did it go?

Wendy: The nerve this girl had, Giuviny, that girl was big, what the hell is she doing picking on someone tiny like our daughter?

Giuviny: Did you speak to the parents?

Wendy: They didn't show. I told her to not bother Kylie ever again.

Kylie hugs Wendy tightly.

Kylie: I'm so lucky to have you as a mom, I love you.

Wendy: I love you too honey, let's go to a restaurant.

Wendy is remembering how she got picked on a lot as a child and her parents were never there for her. When Kylie was born she made a promise to not make her daughter feel the same way she felt as a child.
