Do you know that we often misunderstand the meaning of "strength"?
Not all silence is okay.

Have you ever had such a moment: tears are rolling in your eyes, but you still force a smile just to reassure others?
Have you ever sat on the edge of the bed alone after everyone left, feeling that the whole room is so quiet that it is piercing, but you still tell yourself: "It's okay, I can get through it."
We always think that being strong is silent, not crying, and cleaning up your emotions before going out to meet people. But in fact, true strength is to admit that I am really uncomfortable.
Since when did we regard "collapse" as weakness and "asking for help" as failure?
It seems that only those who say nothing and can tolerate everything are worthy of being called "mature".
However, suppressed emotions will not disappear out of thin air.
It will turn into insomnia at night, become social fatigue in the crowd, and suddenly explode in a sudden conversation.
We are all trying to be "adults",
but we are less and less likely to ask: "Am I okay?"
Do you know?
Sometimes, your "not saying" is your deepest distress signal.
Sometimes, admitting that you are vulnerable is the bravest performance.
You can be tired, cry, or do nothing.
You don't need to grit your teeth every time, and you don't need to be the "indifferent" person forever.
Life should not be a never-ending forbearance.
It can be the confession of "I can't hold on anymore", or the freedom of "I want to take a break".
So, if you are going through something, don't blame yourself for being emotional, and don't force yourself to pretend that nothing is wrong.
Speak out, let it out, and let yourself be heard. Not to gain sympathy, but because you deserve to be understood.
🌿 You are not fragile, you just haven't let yourself breathe for too long.
