Dad, You Are My Everything

I learned to walk holding your hand, And learned to live life on the path.

By Sumon AhmedPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Dad, you are my everything,

A bright and endless horizon.

I learned to walk holding your hand,

And learned to live life on the path.

You are a banyan tree, ever strong,

Giving shade all day long.

Your heart is full of love and affection,

A wellspring of care and deep connection.

When I'm in pain, you are my hope,

My anchor when I struggle to cope.

Even in a hundred sorrows' stay,

You are the light that shows the way.

Your discipline — a priceless gem,

Guiding me through life’s mayhem.

You are my first hero, proud and true,

Dad, there’s no one quite like you.

You are the best — always, forever,

Our bond no storm could ever sever.
