Chapters of Love and Life
another chapter of life, love and gratitude
I hope you enjoy reading my shares as much as I have loved creating them. May they take you places deep, where you have been, may be or places where you may be taken. May they be an aid in your living and healing. May they travel with you in your heart, hold and comfort you in your time; knowing that you are never alone in any thing. Others have been there, tasted the same bitter and painful moments. We survive when we know that there is an Almighty God looking over us and that there are others thinking of you. They too have known what you know.
May they also be with you in celebration as you listen and hear that you can make it through it all. Celebrating each time you get through yet another day. When we take hand to pen, there is much power and healing in writing and even more so, when we share that. You will always receive more than you give.
May you find your way out of what hurts and find what is Truth and Life.
My Thoughts:
I have been writing poetry and songs all my life, every since I was a little girl. I started out writing two poems. One was titled "Jesus" and the other "The Devil". Looking back now I wonder what that little girl knew and how she knew it. So young to sit down and write these two first poems. One about what is good and Holy and the other about what is wicked and evil. I hope o find these and will share them later.
My love for Jesus came at a very early age. I must have been five years old, for my mother had remarried and we were living in the country. I was introduced to what evil offers and I can still remember siting and penning "The Devil". Rings true in such an evil world that we are surrounded by. It comes to visit, face to face with some young children and it's amazing what God will reach down and do in that young one's life and heart. Always knew God was there for me. I just understood it, even then.
Children and adults suffer at the hands of undeserving people, and somehow the good Lord will make Himself known at the darkest of times and in the youngest of lives. There is good and there is evil. This is a choice all people will make in their lives. It will always affect the innocent.
Without the appreciation of the Cross, no one can know the value of another soul. And without that; they can never truly love.
