Lisa absorbed information. It was like she dreamt it and then witnessed it in her own little way. She shunned her smartphone and picked up on Loreen’s cues and handled herself like a prim lady and a voracious predator at the same time.

By soaking up data, she delved further into the realm of succinct enterprise and the gradual becoming of a leader of men and women.

Loreen and Lisa traveled to the Wilmington Stock Exchange (WiSE).

“Now, all that you see here is the delicate display of the dollar. Trillions of them are traded here daily. Tens of trillions, actually every hour.” The women looked about the floor. Chief Executive Officer Clarisa Singh greeted Loreen.

“It’s been too long,” Clarisa announced. “I’m glad you’re still in the fight. And this must be Businessgirl.”

“Yes, I am. You can call me Lisa, though.”

“Lisa it is. Loreen and Lisa. Nice ring. Let’s step into my office.” The space was actually a corner office which depicted refinement and flourishes all the same.

“What’s the deal?” Loreen asked.

“We’re not getting enough recruits. We’ve got people from all over the country that have just shifted to the gig economy or something other than working in finance.”

“What will it take for you to get your numbers up again?” Lisa asked.

“That’s why I called Businesswoman. And you’re welcome here, Businessgirl,” Clarisa replied.

“What we can do is cast a wide net to all the colleges and universities who offer fresh blood and bloody-minded individuals who want the money to follow them.”

“We’ve tried that. Very few bites.” Clarisa sounded sedate in saying this.

“I know what we can do,” Lisa mentioned. “Most kids want to be athletes or entertainers. Let’s inform them that without finance there are no other industries. Let do.”
