Businesswoman Chapter 115
Venture

The first thing Lisa did with her millions was invest them in her companies. She held equity in a grocery store and a real estate business. With some of the remaining dollars, she moved into a condominium with beautiful views of the water in Rehoboth Beach.
And she didn’t forget her 501 (c) (3), either. She looked at the screen and transferred over five hundred thousand dollars to the organization which brought awareness of reason, individualism, and capitalism.
Like wind under her wings, she flew on the thought of how her hustle could lead to greater opportunities. She wanted to maximize them. With the expansion of her firms, she felt a push to begin to be more focused and determined. By looking at her finger and toenails she decided to call up Loreen.
“Hey, did you want to go on a girl’s day? Mani, pedi, hair done, spa the whole nine?”
“I’d love to but I’m swamped with figures. Go by yourself, girl. You’ve earned it. I’ll catch up with you soon.”
Not feeling dejected at all, Lisa announced, “Roger that.”
“I know you’re processing your earnings. That’s great. Keep up that. You’re going to find that there’s a simple way of dealing with these dollars. But you already know that.” Loreen smiled into the phone.
Lisa could tell she was grinning. “Thank you. I still could never repay you for giving me this chance.”
“Yeah, you could!” she joked. They both felt tickled at that line. Their laughter seemed to be a rolling, buoyant sort of chuckle expelled from their throats.
“Yes, well I plan on paying you back some day some way, seriously,” Lisa admitted.
“You owe me only your active mind and to keep the ideas we started with in this venture.”
“I understand. Thanks so much.”
