As he hopped off of the personal jet in Wilmington, Delaware, “Entrepreneur Paul” Atkinson greeted Loreen and Lisa with candor and joy.
“Did you get my message?” Atkinson asked.
Loreen’s eyes turned to saucers.
“So that was you with the cryptic words. Yes, I saved them.”
“Look, we’ve gotta lotta work to do. Markets keep roaring and the people keep snoring. All of our energies must be focused on keeping up with the demand for ideas, excellent ones.”
Lisa extended her hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you—” she started.
“Yes, my three LLC and a 501 (c) (3) holder. I l know this is lopsided—” he started.
“No, it’s not. You have two patents, you started your first business at 15, and have been creating a new business once every five years.”
“Yes, Loreen, you’ve found a sidekick? No. You’ve discovered an avid business partner.”
“So what brings you back to Delaware?” Loreen asked.
Entrepreneur Paul breathed deeply. “I needed to become more attuned to the best business climate in the world. Sure New York is the brain and heart, but Delaware is the central nervous system. I like the action.”
Loreen and Lisa just stood in awe for a moment and continued into the hangar.
“What I want to do is not only sweep away the fraudsters and poor candidates for business in this state, but I’d like to spur the dreamers to solidify those phantasms.”
“As I’m sure you know, that’s what we’ve been doing,” Loreen said.
“A few speaking engagements isn’t going to cut it. I just touched down from London and they don’t play over there, either. What we do in the States, the First State in fact, lies on the bosom of unrestrained capitalism,” he proclaimed.
“We get it, Paul. Now let’s venture forward.”
