In the end, I walked backwards into the woods.

Now, the woods were empty, starlight shimmered through the antler-like branches, and scissors hovered over my body.

And the scissors said, “Let there be lightning,” and there was lightning. The scissors saw that the lightning was good, and they separated the lightning from the thunder. The scissors called the lightning “right” and the thunder they called “wrong.” And there was right, and there was wrong – my first fissure.

And the scissors said, “Let there be thorns between the limbs to separate limb from limb.” So, the scissors made the thorns and separated the limbs under the thorns from the limbs above it. And it was so. The scissors called the thorns “repentance,” and there was night – my second fissure.

And the scissors said, “Let the limbs under the thorns be gathered to one place, and let stones appear.” And it was so. The scissors called the stones “discipline”, and they called the gathered limbs “sin.” And the scissors saw that it was good.

Then the scissors said, “Let us remake her in our image, in our likeness, so that we may rule over the spirit in her soul and the soul in her heart, over her mind and all her body, and over all the parts we have fed to the orchids.”

So, the scissors created mankind in their own image, in the image of scissors they created me.

Then someone said, “She’s not your project, you sick fucks.”

Then I heard the sound of a two-headed dog barking and someone as they were walking in the garden, but I hid from them among the thorns. But the two-headed dog barked in my direction and they called to me, “Where are you?”

Then I said, “Leave me alone.”

And Zero said, “I’m not moving a muscle.”

I said, “Go away.”

Zero said,

“Wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.”

“We have cured her,” the scissors said to him. “For God knows that when she is cured, her eyes will be opened, and she will be welcome. Good, not evil.”

When I saw that the fruits the scissors fed me were not good for food and displeasing to my tongue, I no longer ate them.

Then, my eyes were opened, and I realized I was naked; so Zero gathered my limbs from the ground and covered me with his jacket.

Then Zero said to me, “What is this you have done?”

I said, “The scissors deceived me.”

So, Zero said to the scissors, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above her and me! You will fall from your high horse, and you will eat lead. Because you struck her heart, I will crush your blades under my boot. For pieces of shit you are, and to shit you will return.”

So, Zero shot the scissors into smithereens with his MP5 submachine gun to guard the way to me. After he drove the scissors out, he carried me to our car and drove me out of the woods for good.
