Valentine’s Day event

Starting on Valentine's Day, February 14th to the 15th, 2024, a Facebook group I am a part of named Ingeborg Sem’s Book Portal is having an exciting event!

Resurgence Novels has recently published a free anthology of love stories with fated, forbidden and destined bonds. This collection has many talented authors and new writers with unique and fascinating romance stories all from the free Resurgence Novels app!

My pen-name is Melly R. Gold and my short story within Chasing Fate is entitled Flipping The Veil. It's about two of my side characters Emma and India and some of their back story within the I am Bexley universe. It's also about their forbidden love story and how they met, got to know each other and their ultimate affection and life-long (undead life anyway) trust for one another.

Living in a zombie-run society, humans are treated as second-class citizens who have minimal rights. The zombies live above ground in houses, mansions and apartments. The humans live in bunkers and caves. But the real threat isn't so much the social injustice as the looming terror of the Bloodletters, the ultra-mutated monsters that hunt humans and zombies alike.

During this Valentine's Day Facebook event, authors from Resurgence Novels will be able to answer questions about their stories on the anthology, play games and give insight into their lives, careers and books/stories they have available for you to enjoy! Also, we will be giving out free digital copies of our short story for winners of certain games!!!

I am also in the process of writing the sequel to I am Bexley. It will be called, The Bloodletter’s Scourge. Here is a small snippet of the book!
