Well luck and my skills as a pilot. I was recruited and trained by the Space Force. I was trained to fight off or flee from a potential alien attack. It was arrogant for humans to think that we were alone in this vast expanse of space. We suffered gravely from this arrogance and it wasn't until the year 2148 that we realized We weren't alone. We made first contact with an alien empire called the Andromene Empire. They came in “peace.”
