October Book Review 1: "The Weight of Blood" by Tiffany D. Jackson
Why not start the spooky season off with a horror book review? Well, you got it, and you don't want to miss this review. I simply knew what I was going to rate this book and it was an easy 5 stars. I just enjoy a good horror atmosphere and sometimes retellings/adaptations too. And yes, I know that most times retellings/adaptations don't always hit that original peace of beautiful work as the classic copy does but with this book you won't be disappointed. You see this retelling is a retelling of the Stephan King's classic novel "Carrie". So yes, you won't be let down with this one.

Only last year it all happened so quickly after he died, I didn’t even have the time to think about it. I was overwhelmed with grief and simply didn’t care to please others with my presence. But now it’s been a year since Andrew’s death and I feel like some people expect me to move on, and join the festivities.
