The Author Kalyn Josephson NYT Bestselling author of series like; The Storm Crow Series Ravenfall Series This Dark Descent which is listed as Book 1# which means there is more story to come. Josephson is a Technical Writer, but that doesn’t stop her from writing fantasy-driven stories. Both Ravenfall and Hollowthorn are Middle-Grade books, while The Storm Crow and This Dark Descent are Young Adult books.

Book Review: A Study in Drowning
I received this book as a part of my September Owlcrate box. When I first read the summary of the book I was pretty intrigued by its premise. The story seemed genuinely good and in the end, it didn't disappoint. However, there are some things about this book that I struggled with as I read.

In that moment, I realized that I was just another grain of beach in the wind, fully gulfed in the desert's harsh and enduring geography. The desert's parched silence was both creepy and mesmerizing, reminding me of the power and beauty of nature. And so, I began my trip through the desert, eager to explore and discover all that it had to offer.

The Curse of Book Two
I, like most of my peers, devoured Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros when I got my grubby little hands on it. It took me five days (slow for my typical standards, but I wanted to savor the story) to read and after I was done, I was left with a heightened sense of excitement for the next installment. BookTok, Bookstagram, and Twitter went insane over the story and bogged down my daily feed with spoilers, theories, and thirst-traps for the male lead, Xaden Riorson. I read it directly after my best friend did, so I was able to bounce ideas off her and daydream about bonding with our own dragons.
